The best gluten-free pizza I've ever eaten. And the mini cheesecakes were spectacular

The strong point is that the entire menu can be prepared gluten-free. Excellent dishes, impeccable service. It deserves all 5 stars.

To give less than 5 stars for the gluten-free options at this place is a sacrilege. The entire menu is available gluten-free, including the desserts (which are excellent). My favorite gluten-free pizza. Moreover, the gluten-free options come without any surcharge, truly amazing.

I come from Milan, where we have tons of SG venues and many Neapolitan-style pizzerias... but I have never eaten a pizza like this. The best gluten-free pizza I have ever tried. The dough is incredibly light and super flavorful, the quality of the ingredients is top-notch, truly a guarantee.

We were looking for a place to eat gluten-free pizza and we found this restaurant. The ingredients were fresh and good, but the gluten-free pizza was quite chewy. The "normal" pizzas had a Neapolitan crust, so they were thick and a bit undercooked. The staff was friendly, but I don't think I'll return.

Delicious pizzas, available in all flavors. There is no extra charge for gluten-free, and plus, the dough is out of this world! Soft, tender, well-risen, flavorful, and also available with stuffed crusts!

Great pizza! The staff is very caring; the first thing they ask is if there are any food intolerances. The pizza is slightly smaller than average, but that's fine because it’s hard to finish it 😅 There’s no surcharge for gluten-free. I recommend it; I really liked it!

a lot of choice even among the fried items, but the pizza is too small (especially considering the price), and personally, I don't consider the dough to be one of the best.

If you love pizza, Acido Lattico is a must-visit. A pizzeria that not only maintains high standards of quality but also manages to stand out for creativity, attention to dietary needs, and passion for the craft. The environment is modern yet welcoming, the staff is kind and knowledgeable, always ready to enthusiastically recommend the most interesting menu items. The service is quick but attentive to details. The pizza is simply spectacular. The dough is soft, very light, with perfect leavening that doesn’t weigh you down. The ingredients are highly selected, many of which are DOP and zero-mile. A special mention goes to the "Margherita Acido Lattico," a masterpiece of simplicity and flavor, and the "Versace," an elegant and flavorful interpretation of tradition. The gluten-free offering is also innovative, present in both locations, with dedicated dough and separate kitchens to ensure total safety. A significant plus for those with celiac disease or intolerances. The pizzas with stuffed crusts – such as the famous Rikkotta – are a true delight, abundant yet balanced in flavors. Don’t miss the desserts either: artisanal, super fresh, a perfect ending. The prices are in line with the quality and attention to detail. It’s clear that here, pizza is not just food, but a true act of love for Italian tradition. In conclusion: Acido Lattico is the perfect pizzeria for those seeking something more than just regular pizza. A winning mix of tradition, innovation, and absolute quality. I will definitely be returning, and wholeheartedly recommend it! 🍕👏 Rating: 9½!!

Everything was delicious, top-notch craft beer.

Gluten-free pizza truly very good. They also have a very good craft beer, to change from the usual Peroni gluten-free that you usually find, when you can find it. Very happy

Great! Everything! The entire gluten-free menu, two separate kitchens and separate ovens! Excellent hospitality, fast service, and very knowledgeable and attentive staff! Excellent food, with top-quality ingredients! Reservation is necessary!

Last meal in Catania was at Acido Lattico. They specialize in gluten free pizzas. Busy on a weekday evening (9:00pm) but no wait for a table inside. Pizzas were in the 8,00€ to 15,00€ price range. No extra cost for gluten free. Coperto was 2,00€/person. - Piccante (10,00€) - best gluten free pizza we’ve eaten. Great chew, satisfying bite. Even had a decent kick - Al pesto di pistacchio di Bronte DOP (15,00€) - speck with pistacchio pesto Delicious gluten free pizza at AL.

What can I say, everything was exquisite and above all, maximum safety. The pizza is very thin and light, but I like it that way! The menu is also very varied.

In Catania, you can find a million pizzerias, and each one claims to make the best pizza in the city. Even though it was a Sunday evening, with the room completely packed and not a free table available, we sat down in this pizzeria and ordered. From the moment we ordered, you must admit that not much time has passed, a little over half an hour to have eight pizzas and a sandwich (three of which were gluten-free). I waited to write the review to see if the night (as often happens after a pizza) would bring thirst, and I must admit I had no issues at all. The pizza is beautiful to look at and delightful to eat. Kudos to the person in front of the oven; they are definitely highly skilled professionals.

Everything was great, but the owner on Via Pantano was rude. In winter, on a Wednesday in February, the place was empty, and he refused to let us in without a reservation. There were three of us after the cinema. He has no idea what it means to offer service to someone with serious dietary restrictions. A tourist arrives who eats gluten-free and wheat-free and has no home or reservation? He kicks them out while waving a business card! The staff on Via Umberto, however, were very polite. Anyway, the pizza is excellent, and you are in a safe spot. But you need to plan and make a phone call.

Spacious venue just a few steps from the center of Catania. Reservation is recommended. They have a variety of pizzas, including gluten-free options. The dough is well-risen, light, tasty, soft, and not gummy, very similar to Neapolitan pizza. Quality ingredients and very fast service. We had: - Spicy Tuna Tomato -> San Marzano from the agro sarnese-nocerino (D.O.P.), fiordilatte mozzarella in small pieces, olives, top-quality tuna fillets (Drago), fresh chili, extra virgin olive oil, fresh basil] and a Margherita; - Margherita -> Italian tomato sauce, fiordilatte mozzarella in small pieces, extra virgin olive oil, and basil. The tomato sauce and mozzarella were delicious, as were the tuna fillets. We will definitely return!!! Kudos to the staff as well: fast, friendly, and kind!

The entire menu is also gluten-free and without surcharge, everything is very good.

I was at the location on via Pantano, I recommend making a reservation because the place is always full. The person who took the orders was able to perfectly illustrate and explain all the gluten-free alternatives. I had an excellent pizza, with a thick and soft crust, and typical Sicilian fried foods as an appetizer. A blissful gluten-free experience!

The best gluten-free pizza I have ever eaten. Perfect for celiacs. The service is excellent and the venue is very nice. In my modest opinion, it is the best pizzeria in all of Catania and surrounding areas.

I visited this place in August. Despite the reservation not showing up, they quickly arranged a table for us. Everything is available in gluten-free versions, including fried foods and beer. Very fast service.

Great pizzeria and delicious burgers. Double kitchen to avoid gluten contamination. Here you can find a complete gluten-free menu. Personally available and kind. They respect anti-COVID rules.

Well, I tried the gluten-free pizza, I’m celiac, and compared to the competition, I must say I found better options. The taste isn’t bad, but the softness of the dough wasn’t the best. And then... the prosciutto crudo that ends just at 8:30 pm on a Friday... Sorry if I may suggest a small tip: put in a bit more effort if you want to succeed. We’ll meet again in some time...
