The White Hen offers a completely gluten-free menu with numerous options, including various types of pasta and fried foods. Located just a 10-minute walk from Rome Termini station, it is a cozy place with indoor and outdoor tables, ideal also for families.

very attentive to gluten-free and contamination, very careful and meticulous also for lactose-free. The food is really good, too bad I don't have photos, I was too hungry 🤣🤣🤣

Entire gluten-free menu from appetizers to desserts. The fried dishes are excellent!! Attentive service and courteous staff! Top!

Some of the best gluten free food in Roma! We tried many authentic Roman dishes, which were all delicious! I think this is the best gluten free pasta I have ever had! More of a casual atmosphere with amazing food!

AIC certificate, average prices, everything was excellent, very kind staff, and especially very attentive to gluten-free options (each dish has a tag indicating it). The only "flaw" is that the tables are extremely close to each other.

A very welcoming typical place with incredibly kind and friendly staff. The waitress was attentive and available to us throughout our meal. The gluten-free pasta carbonara was exquisitely perfect. No contamination, and the dishes are marked with a wooden stick saying 'gluten-free'. Everything was delicious, even the Roman artichoke ( which I had never tried before). A light apple dessert concluded our lunch on New Year's Day. Congratulations!!!

I expected something more, I was disappointed... The staff was very kind but the dishes were not exceptional and the prices were quite high. However, I was impressed by the very good gluten-free tiramisu and the wide selection of gluten-free options.

We had a good meal at Gallina Bianca in Rome. The carbonara was tasty, although not among the best we have ever tried, a bit less intense than usual. There is the option to have it gluten-free. The service was pleasant, although the quality-price ratio seemed a bit high. Overall, a positive experience, but with some room for improvement.

The venue also offers fried foods and first courses in addition to a good selection of grilled meats. The place is average, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
5
AIC certified trattoria restaurant. Practically almost the entire menu can be gluten-free: pasta dishes, fried foods, various meats, pizzas, etc. Excellent customer care.

Restaurant pizzeria located a stone's throw from the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome. The place has a trattoria style, clean and welcoming. The menu is extensive, ranging from typical Roman dishes (super carbonara...) to the most classic pizzas. We tried a little bit of everything and were really satisfied! I would increase the portion sizes a bit considering the medium-high costs, but the quality is excellent! There is a menu entirely dedicated to gluten-free options. Top!! Fast, friendly, and cordial service. Highly recommended!

delicious gluten-free food, be careful of contamination. Highly recommended

Every time I pass through Rome, La Gallina Bianca is a must-stop! The gluten-free options are really plentiful: from appetizers (both fried and not), to main courses, and even pizzas. In short, a true paradise for us celiacs. Moreover, the venue is AIC certified, which provides an extra sense of security and allows you to enjoy your meal with peace of mind. The staff is always kind and helpful, the atmosphere welcoming, and the prices absolutely fair for the quality offered. Highly recommended!

Great place to eat next to our hotel. Tomato basil bruschetta was delicious, carbonara pasta yum, margarita wood fired pizza good (though sauce a little drippy) and tiramisu delicious. Service was fast and very friendly. Waiter noticed I was choking on a bit of bread and came banged my back to dislodge it. Glad attentive. I loved they asked if we had any food allergies like gluten free. We don’t but it’s rare to find places that cater to that.
5
Delicious place in a strategic location. The staff is very kind and friendly. AIC certified. The entire menu is gluten-free. From the trio of artichokes to the various versions of carbonara, from bombette to swordfish to desserts. Everything is amazing. I was almost moved!!! Absolutely recommended!
5
Rustic environment where you can savor both excellent pizza and remarkable Roman dishes... family-style treatment, courteous and caring. Noteworthy is the attention to intolerances and the option for a nearly complete menu with a gluten-free variant. With the hotel nearby, it’s impossible not to go there for dinner every evening! Also, keep in mind the proximity to Termini.
5
very welcoming place, truly excellent gluten-free dishes and a really high level of safety! I recommend it if you are in the Termini area and are celiac, it will save your life!
5
welcoming and helpful staff. Excellent dishes and a wide gluten-free menu ranging from appetizers, first courses, main courses, side dishes, pizzas, and desserts. Fair prices. Everything is great, I recommend it.
5
welcoming, friendly, and very accommodating staff. Entirely gluten-free menu from appetizers, first courses, main courses, side dishes, pizzas, and desserts. Excellent food and 100% safe. Try it to believe it 😉 Fair prices.

Very wide selection in the menu, ranging from appetizers to first courses, from fried dishes to pizzas. Courtesy and care from the waiters, who are well-trained and attentive. Generous portions and very good food. Recommended.
5
Near Roma Termini was a pleasant discovery! Everything is gluten-free: from appetizers, first courses, second courses, and even pizza, as well as desserts. Quality ingredients and well-prepared dishes that are clearly marked gluten-free. Attentive, kind, and helpful staff.

I have already tried it on several occasions and have always been very satisfied. Starters and pizza are phenomenal. They use non-deglutinated flours, but only those that naturally do not contain gluten. Easy to reach from Termini Station and with many options. AIC venue, so super safe.

Gluten-free food is really amazing; they bring you a separate menu full of options, highly recommended!!

The best gluten-free restaurant I've ever been to. Roman pasta, supplì, fried food, pizza, meat... a vast choice and everything is excellent. The desserts are phenomenal! The speed of service depends on how many people there are, but it's never slow. The staff is courteous and friendly. Very convenient location being close to Termini.

Welcoming and comfortable location close to various points of interest in Rome. Friendly and helpful staff, though sometimes they suffer from small distractions. Gluten-free dishes are EXCELLENT. Pizza (with gluten) is very good, unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to try the gluten-free one due to time constraints 😭 quality-price ratio: OK! RECOMMENDED!

Excellent food, courteous and knowledgeable staff, fast service even when the place is full. If only they were all like this...

I visited a very welcoming place, not far from Rome Termini, with a menu dedicated to gluten-free dishes. I enjoyed a delicious gluten-free cacio e pepe, highly recommended. The variety of gluten-free fried dishes is remarkable, and there is a wide selection of main courses and appetizers. As for gluten-free desserts, they could enrich the offering. The atmosphere is lively yet pleasant, while the service is quick, although perhaps a bit informal. Overall, considering the location and quality, the value for money is satisfactory.

Very friendly place not far from Roma Termini. They have a dedicated gluten-free menu. I tried a fantastic gluten-free cacio e pepe, which I highly recommend. They also have an excellent selection of gluten-free fried foods, and there were many main courses and appetizers as well. The gluten-free desserts were a bit lacking, and I think the selection could be more varied. The atmosphere is very noisy but pleasant. The service is extremely fast, but maybe a bit too informal. For the location and quality, the price-quality ratio is good. That said, highly recommended place!

A location near the station with a vast menu including appetizers, first courses, main dishes, pizzas, and desserts. There is also a wide gluten-free certified choice, which is truly high quality (as stated by celiacs at the table, there wasn't any contamination). All the dishes we tried were very good; certainly, the pizza had an extra touch compared to the pasta, but I believe it also depends on personal tastes. For me, the pasta was a bit al dente, and the sauce was slightly undercooked, but that might just be my personal preference. The waiters were all kind and helpful, and the waiting times were average, even less at times. The bill was about €35 per person for an appetizer, a first course, and dessert (the tiramisu was very good!). The atmosphere was informal, perhaps a bit too noisy during peak hours.

very good carbonara and with non-industrial pasta!

I tasted the bufalina! Good. The dough is a bit dry, perhaps for the flavor I chose.

Tried on several occasions, multiple times in recent months: welcoming place, suitable for families. Tables available both indoors and outdoors. Friendly staff. Convenient due to its proximity to the Roma Termini station (10 min walk). Wide menu also for gluten-free options, but in this case a shortcoming is in the portions: taking both gluten-free and gluten-containing first courses, it is evident how the gluten-free portions are much smaller compared to those with gluten, despite the price difference still being present. For gluten-free, the fried appetizers and the pasta cacio e pepe are recommended.

It's true that there is a menu dedicated to us, and the food is quite good overall, but the bill we received at the table was too expensive, just the service was 40 euros. In short, I ate decently but I don't think I will go back... 57 euros per person I found to be excessive for a shared appetizer, a first course, two beers, and a dessert.

completely gluten-free menu available, very good and safe
1
many gluten-free options including many types of pasta, we tried the pizza which was a disappointment for our tastes, it seemed like a pre-made crust. staff was a bit aloof and not very friendly.
4
the entire menu available gluten-free. excellent quality/price ratio
5
Great Roman cuisine with availability of any dish in a gluten-free version (specific menu). Friendly and pleasant staff, knowledgeable about intolerances. Very nice and family-friendly location. Suitable for celiacs. Recommended.

A "salty" disappointment. Chosen for gluten-free, it turned out to be a real letdown: carbonara with "cooked" egg, grilled vegetables that do not justify their price (14 euros), gluten-free cacio e pepe that was a third of the amount of the normal dish, and especially a gluten-free beer of 33cl for eight euros. We were disappointed. Nice restaurant but absurd quality-price ratio. Unfortunately, we will not return.

Clean and tidy location, with tables both inside and outside the venue, on a one-way and non-busy street. Availability of dishes also "gluten free". I believe the menu is sufficient to satisfy customers' requests. In the span of 15 days, we visited this restaurant-pizzeria twice, not far from the "Roma Termini" train station. We ate well on both occasions (both "gluten free" and "with gluten"): excellent fried appetizers (with meat, mozzarella, fish: they were light, well-cooked, tasty) and first courses (carbonara; pici cacio e pepe: also light and tasty). However, we found the following sensitive aspects, which I would like to highlight to the manager: 1) the cost of some dishes in the menu appears a bit high; 2) for those who are forced to eat "gluten free", like myself, they are forced to eat dishes (whether pizzas, first or second courses) with significantly smaller portions compared to those with gluten (I pointed this out to the waiters, who "shrugged it off") and, at the same time, pay high prices compared to comparable "gluten" dishes. In this case, why not increase the portions of "gluten free" food to match the quantities currently provided for "with gluten"? This way, observations (like this one) can be avoided and customers are encouraged to return happily.

Great, I’m celiac and allergic to lactose.... I had sliced beef and chicory for dinner... For lunch, carbonara with crispy octopus...... Everything was very good. Kind staff and compliments to Valentina for her friendliness.... The place is tastefully and warmly decorated.... The meat is better than the pasta dishes.

Finally, the entire menu is available for celiacs!!! I finally got to let my wife taste their carbonara too! Excellent service and dishes from true Roman cuisine, thanks to the waitress Valentina who was able to suggest the specialties we liked.
