The pizzeria-restaurant Le Palme is located in Atrani, one of the most charming and evocative villages of the Amalfi Coast, made even more magical during the Christmas period thanks to the lights illuminating the alleys and small squares. Unfortunately, as often happens in very small towns, dining options are limited, especially during certain times of the year, which is why we decided to stop here. The venue is situated in the lower part of the town, near the beach and the small harbor, making it easily accessible. The interior of the restaurant is indeed very small, but overall neat and pleasant, with a simple and welcoming atmosphere. However, the real sore point is the outdoor seating: definitely neglected. Between parking, stairs, and a passageway, the outdoor tables seem poorly valued and uncomfortable. There is barely a cloth overhead, no lateral protection from the wind, and no heating lamps. After settling in with the promise of heating, we realized it was unfortunately just a joke. Nevertheless, once seated and considering the lack of alternatives in the area, we decided to stay. Unfortunately, the pizza did not wow us: the ingredients used seem of decent quality but surely not top-notch. The beer selection was also limited, and we were served different labels from those ordered because they were unavailable. Some diners opted for an octopus salad, which was average, with no particular highlights and not particularly abundant. The final bill of about 20 euros per person is in line with the prices on the Amalfi Coast, but it feels inadequate compared to what was consumed and the service provided. Overall, a sufficient but disappointing experience in various aspects. Next time, we will likely move to one of the nearby villages, hoping for a more curated and satisfying offer. PS a positive aspect is the availability of gluten-free products, including pizza.

We are two sisters from Argentina and during our trip to the Amalfi Coast, we discovered this wonderful little restaurant in Atrani: Le Palme. From the very first moment, we felt welcomed like at home. Salvatore, the owner, is a very kind person, always present and attentive to every detail. He goes between the tables, greets everyone with a smile, and creates a truly family atmosphere. A big plus: they have gluten-free options! A real lifesaver for those in need, with tasty and safe dishes. The food is truly excellent: generous portions, fresh ingredients, and authentic flavors. We ate wonderfully every time. The service was impeccable: friendly and fast staff, always with a kind word. A place to return to, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone passing through Atrani. Thank you, Salvatore, for your hospitality — you made us feel like family, even from the other side of the world.
