I have been to Al Dente twice. The first time I tried the cacio e pepe, while the second time I had bruschetta and gricia, all in gluten-free versions. The venue is not certified for celiac disease, and the staff always informs, very correctly, that there is a risk of contamination. There is no dedicated menu, but most dishes can be prepared gluten-free. Gluten-free beer is also available, although I haven’t tried it yet. The pasta really surprised me: anyone who cooks gluten-free knows how difficult it is to achieve a good consistency, but here it was perfectly cooked and didn't fall apart. The bruschetta was also very good. The portions are generous yet well-balanced. The staff has always been kind and helpful. The place is quite small and, during busier periods, it can happen to wait a bit even with a reservation. The kitchen is open, and despite the air conditioning, it was still a bit warm inside. For two bruschettas, four main courses, and two bottles of water, we spent about €70, a price I consider fair for the quality of the food. I recommend it to anyone looking for good gluten-free pasta, but I wouldn’t recommend it to celiacs who need a risk-free environment, as the venue is very transparent in communicating that this risk exists.

I want to preface that I am CELIAC, I had dinner here after some research and even though it was not clear from the website whether they offer gluten-free options, they actually do serve spaghetti and bruschette without gluten. Unfortunately, the desserts are not gluten-free, but the bruschette and spaghetti were excellent (I recommend the potato and guanciale bruschette and the bufalona with cheese + spaghetti risottati with basil and datterino tomatoes). Welcoming atmosphere, fair prices, excellent quality!

Small but welcoming place, clean and tidy, friendly staff. I have two celiac children and we took 4 different gluten-free spaghetti. Each one was tastier than the last. Well done!

A lovely spaghetti meal in the center of Salerno is a must. Spaghetti for all tastes (including gluten-free). The appetizers and bruschetta are also worth trying. Friendly and knowledgeable service.
