To the question about cones and gluten-free products, the response was also rude, a curt no. They do not have gluten-free products; I don’t know why they are on the list.

I am at Torre Mozza and wanted to visit the laboratory. Before going, I called and was told that they had vegan croissants and just a few gluten-free cakes. Honestly, I am disappointed.

Martinucci offers packaged sweets and cakes for celiac and lactose-intolerant individuals, both regular and single portion. They are not made in-house but are good and of quality. I tried the tiramisu, cheesecake, and chocolate. Additionally, it is possible to order packaged mini pizzas and calzones that are gluten-free and lactose-free. I give it 3 stars instead of 4 because usually the calzones are not defrosted properly and remain a bit raw in the middle. Overall, they could do better, but I appreciate the effort.

The staff's response to the question; Do you have anything gluten-free? is no. I don’t know who reported this chain.... because they have two packaged Sicilian cookies which are probably quite old like many other bars scattered throughout the country... I would also say no.

I don’t recommend it. Zero empathy. We arrived at 11:30 PM looking for ice cream for my son. All the tubs were excessively contaminated (in the sense that I wouldn’t have taken the ice cream for myself either! Crumbs of cones, residues of other flavors…). The next day we showed up for breakfast at 8:00 AM; my son had already had breakfast but saw that they were currently restocking the ice cream counter with new, full and intact tubs. Yet they still refused to serve me ice cream due to contamination risk during preparation. I thus realized that they are not very clean or professional. However, they do have vegan ice cream. Trends really must be followed…

Martinucci in Salento is an institution, but for us celiacs, unfortunately, it’s not so easy. However, this Martinucci by Ludo Marini is getting equipped and has some Nutrifree brioche with three choices as well as individually packaged sweets for us celiacs. Anyway, it’s already a step forward for us, as we can still go for breakfast with friends and family without feeling awkward.
