I don’t recommend it. Zero empathy. We arrived at 11:30 PM looking for ice cream for my son. All the tubs were excessively contaminated (in the sense that I wouldn’t have taken the ice cream for myself either! Crumbs of cones, residues of other flavors…). The next day we showed up for breakfast at 8:00 AM; my son had already had breakfast but saw that they were currently restocking the ice cream counter with new, full and intact tubs. Yet they still refused to serve me ice cream due to contamination risk during preparation. I thus realized that they are not very clean or professional. However, they do have vegan ice cream. Trends really must be followed…

Martinucci in Salento is an institution, but for us celiacs, unfortunately, it’s not so easy. However, this Martinucci by Ludo Marini is getting equipped and has some Nutrifree brioche with three choices as well as individually packaged sweets for us celiacs. Anyway, it’s already a step forward for us, as we can still go for breakfast with friends and family without feeling awkward.
