I am from Bari and tonight I chose this restaurant to understand and verify its quality. I enjoyed a delicious gluten-free first course and felt like it had been prepared by my mother. Penne with tomato, arugula, and cheese: special! It had the genuine flavor that only the products of my land can guarantee. I will return to taste the other menu offerings. Friendly, attentive, available, and playful staff. Good value for money. Finally, there are details that only a true Barese can understand: I appreciated the thoughtfulness of offering two candies next to the receipt. The hospitality of the people of Bari is in their DNA.

Really excellent dinner. With a friend, for our short stay in Bari, we decided to stop by "Sopravvento da Sergione" and we couldn't have made a better choice. Recommendation: fava beans with chicory and fried octopus, mussels with pepper, rice with potatoes and mussels, orecchiette with turnip tops, and almond gelato with lemon sorbet: everything was delicious and even the desserts are homemade (and you can tell!). The staff was helpful and very kind: it was a pleasure to meet them: definitely worth returning! It's also worth noting that it's a restaurant registered with an association for dysphagic individuals, so there is food available for people with swallowing difficulties. An additional attention to the customer that makes this restaurant even more inclusive: very impressive!!
