In this trattoria, you can truly enjoy typical Salentino cuisine! AIC venue, very attentive to celiacs and very helpful! The entire menu is replicable in the SG version (apart from a few appetizers). Generous portions! Highly recommended!

Upon the advice of a local colleague, we went to dinner with eleven people at Nonna Lilia's trattoria, known for its Salento-style appearance and cuisine, located in the historic center of Galatina. To start, we ordered excellent mixed fried appetizers, including meatballs, croquettes, and pittule of various flavors (spicy, with vegetables, traditional, and dulcis in fundo stracciatella and mortadella), all cooked to a crispy and dry perfection. The first courses, quite abundant, feature various types of pasta from classic Orecchiette with pepper cream, sausage, and spicy provola cheese shavings to Troccoli with smashed tomatoes, capers, anchovies, and celline olives. There is also the option to order gluten-free. For the main courses, the standout is the Pezzetti di Cavallo alla Pignata. With three bottles of rosé MadreTerra, the friendliness and availability of the staff made us very satisfied, spending only 25€ per person.
