On Sunday evening, I stopped by Trattoria da Zia Giò for an apericena. Being celiac, I was initially a bit skeptical: often, places do not have many gluten-free options or are not particularly attentive. Instead, I was very satisfied! They brought me a well-stocked and varied plate, all strictly gluten-free: fried potatoes, sandwiches with ham, fried polenta, Russian salad, falafel-like meatballs, and other really tasty things. I asked for information, and the girl taking orders explained to me that they use a dedicated fryer to avoid contamination, which I really appreciated. Moreover, she told me that, by booking in advance, they could even prepare mixed fried fish gluten-free. The place is also open for dinner and offers a good selection of gluten-free dishes, ideal for those who want to go beyond the classic aperitif. A positive experience, both for the quality of the dishes and for the great attention to details. I will definitely return!
