Exceptional is the right term for this restaurant. Tasty and imaginative dishes at the same time, a menu of tradition that also aims to present some dishes a little different from the 'usual' ones. Extremely courteous and attentive staff. Well-maintained premises. Very good, keep it up!

Very kind staff, aware of the issue and attentive to contamination. Unfortunately, upon my arrival, there were a few options that were gluten-free, but I know that they often have many more choices. Everything was delicious.

After recently discovering that I am celiac, finding a place to eat peacefully is not so obvious. Èssenza in Locorotondo was a truly precious discovery. Here, everything is designed to be gluten-free and lactose-free, so you can order with peace of mind, without worrying about contamination. The venue is small but very well-kept, with a welcoming atmosphere. The owners are kind, helpful, and always smiling, making you feel at ease right away. The selection of local wines is also noteworthy. The quality of the food is surprising: focaccia, panzerotti, meatballs are so good that it’s hard to believe they are completely gluten-free. A place well worth visiting when in Locorotondo, especially for those who are celiac but don’t want to give up the pleasure of eating well. Highly recommended.
