Personally, I found my pizza to be decent. I admit, however, that I generally prefer another type of pizza, so I think others might like it and I would still recommend trying it if you're around. As for the gluten-free pizza, my wife only ate one slice. We mentioned that we thought the dough was too undercooked, and the server's response, once relayed to the pizzaiolo, was "we're sorry." Perhaps an explanation about the type of dough, and greater attention to the peaceful and polite objections of customers, would have been helpful. But those are business choices, and we are tourists, not locals, so personally, I won't be returning next year. My wife eats gluten-free not for fashion but out of necessity, and she has eaten gluten-free pizzas over the years. Therefore, she is capable of making comparisons with other pizzas. That evening, another diner also mentioned that he was not satisfied with the gluten-free pizza; in this case, I don't know what the response was.

The restaurant is not very large but very welcoming. There were four of us and we had booked online after finding it on the AIC app while on vacation in the area. We were immediately welcomed with a spritz aperitif and peanuts offered, which was promptly noted as unsuitable for me being celiac since neither was certified gluten-free. We ordered four pizzas, three with gluten (two Fantasia and one Orto del Re) and one gluten-free (Fantasia, picture attached), all delicious and very light, including the gluten-free pizza, one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Even the gluten-free dough is made by them, and you can hardly feel the difference.

On an evening with friends where we pretty much monopolized the place, we were able to enjoy one of the best pizzas we've had in a long time. The venue isn’t very big, the bar, oven, and kitchen spaces are a bit cramped and creatively arranged, but this way you can see Gabriele preparing and baking the pizzas. With our large table, we sort of revolutionized the furniture and table arrangement, which I imagine is usually set up in a more elegant way. Hold on, let’s go in order: since there were almost 20 of us, we agreed on a platter of appetizers for everyone, with cured meats and fried pasta (delicious), these wonderful little sandwiches, and some amazing savory cannoli, all served with sauces and sun-dried tomatoes. Then, the pizzas. The most popular ones were Fantasia, Emiliana, and Sole del Cilento, while I opted for the Carciofo Inside. Modern dough, rich filling, and very satisfying both in flavor and quantity. The dessert (small… but I’m just never satisfied. They should serve it by the bucket) was delightful. Special note, AMONG US there was a celiac girl who was able to enjoy the dinner thanks to a good selection of gluten-free options. Pizzeria to definitely try. The prices… you can see them on the menu. Not the cheapest, but justified. You leave full and happy.
