I want to preface that as a celiac, I am used to having to make sacrifices, so for me, outings always become limited when it comes to enjoying a "simple treat" or a sandwich or hot food. But a few evenings ago, my husband and I were in Mazara, as often happens, and I remembered that a friend had told me that "LA DOLCISSIMA" had gluten-free options, but without going into details. So as I walked in, I was convinced that I would find what other places usually offer... that is, almost nothing!! Believe me, at the moment when a staff member told me I could choose from both frozen and fresh products, I became like a little girl 🤩🤩🤩. They have cream puffs, mini tarts, tiramisu, profiteroles, and many other sweets, plus hot food, sandwiches, etc. ... A very important thing is that they are AIC registered, so 100% safe 🥰🥰🥰. And so finally, celiacs like me, if you find yourselves in Mazara and want to treat yourselves to the pleasure of a fresh dessert, ice cream, or hot food, go to LA DOLCISSIMA 🥰🤩🥰🤩🥰. P.S. The staff is kind, qualified, and available; the owner is top-notch 💯💯💯.

Gluten-free desserts are unbeatable. The wide range of options for a celiac is not a common feature in other bars that offer gluten-free products. The strong point is the abundant willingness to meet not only requests but also some "whims"... heartfelt thanks for the sensitivity that characterizes you.

I am excited about this pastry shop! It has always been difficult to find gluten-free and lactose-free products that are delicious and safe for health. There is a great variety of products, from sweet to savory. The service is always friendly and professional. It's nice to know that there are those who think about those with dietary difficulties. It's a gesture of inclusivity and care that I appreciate. Thank you for this initiative.

I was very disappointed with this pastry shop, despite the recent AIC certification. Unfortunately, the doughs are not up to par, the bread and hot dishes have an unpleasant smell of too strong yeast, and the final result is neither pleasant to the eye nor to the taste. An even more concerning aspect is the attention to hygiene: I saw the staff handling products without washing their hands, moving from gluten-containing foods to gluten-free ones, posing a huge risk of contamination. This is unacceptable, especially for those relying on an establishment with AIC certification to feel safe. Moreover, phone orders are not respected.. you receive different products than those requested. If one is not prepared, it would be better to stop and study and properly train before taking on such a large responsibility. Certification is not a label to display, but a concrete commitment to those with serious dietary needs.
