Really good pizza. No extra charge! Very kind and well-trained staff! They are part of the AIC circuit!

I visited this pizzeria with my family, which is also gluten-free (affiliated with the Italian Celiac Association). They don't have celiac disease, but I do, and I ate there safely. We each had fries (mine were cooked separately) and then pizzas, three classic ones and one gluten-free one with broccoli rabe, sausage, and sun-dried tomatoes in oil, which I really enjoyed. My family also enjoyed their gluten-free pizzas. The wait staff is very kind and welcoming, and above all, they are well-trained in handling gluten-free dishes. They told me that all the gluten-free pizzas can be made gluten-free. I didn't ask about the availability of gluten-free beers (because I was driving on the way home), nor did I ask about any gluten-free desserts, simply because I didn't feel like it this evening. At the end of the meal, the head waiter offered my family some amaro to thank us for dining at SILICCU. I'll conclude by saying that SILICCU is a young place, well-integrated into the surrounding park, full of Sicilian pride and a training in celiac disease and the world of gluten-free that is hard to find in the far south-east of Sicily!
