Best 100% gluten free restaurant in Viareggio. The staff were very welcome and friendly. We didn't book but plenty of space. We choose sit outside as it was a lovely day. They did pastries which we took away and they were delicious! During our short 4 day trip in Viareggio, we ate here twice.

A few months ago we discovered this wonderful place, friendly and very courteous staff, everything is excellent from the starter to the dessert... a wide choice even for breakfast with the option to buy bread and pastries, homemade croissants that are delicious! The prices are always fair!!!

The true paradise for celiacs with everything gluten-free and all of excellent quality: meat from Garfagnana, handmade pasta, and fresh fish, so you choose. One of the few restaurants where prices are always honest and portions are generous. The waitstaff is friendly and always available. Quick service. Certified AIC restaurant, based on my experience, it can only be Absolutely Irresistible for celiacs! But not just for gluten intolerant individuals, it is also highly appreciated by those without food issues. Super light and tasty mixed fry, tuna fillet with an incredible tenderness. It’s all gluten-free by default, so there are plenty of options; it doesn’t even feel like eating gluten-free (speaking as a non-allergic person used to gluten food). There are also vegan options. The quality of the food and ingredients is really excellent, almost everything is made by them. The focaccia is delicious, and the cheesecake is to die for. The staff is friendly and helpful; they check on the tables often.

Locale x celiacs... what a wonder everything from the bread basket where a wonderful focaccia arrives to the first courses, second courses, side dishes, etc. all strictly gluten-free and also AIC recognized. Fast and attentive service despite the place being full. We had a delicious fried fish that was absolutely NOT GREASY. THE PIZZA IS GOOD. The chocolate tender cake is to die for. AND ON TOP OF THAT, I WAS ABLE TO BRING MY LABRADOR BABETTE. If I return to Versilia... I will definitely stop by the posteria again.

I visited this restaurant for dinner. The restaurant is located in the central area of Viareggio, making it very convenient to reach. The place is simple, basic, but complete. We first ordered for the little child and then for the rest of the group. For the child, we chose the cutlet with fries, while the rest of the group chose basic fish dishes. The gnocchi were excellent, as was the seafood salad chosen as a shared appetizer. The sliced steak with roasted vegetables was also great, as was the cod. Perfect attention to various dietary needs with gluten-free and lactose-free dishes. Price was reasonable and the dishes were excellent. Waiting times and attention from the staff could be improved (called a couple of times to quickly book just for the hungry child).

Beautiful and comfortable place, very welcoming and nice staff. We were two, one of whom was celiac, and everything was gluten-free. Generous portions and really good food. I highly recommend trying the meat ragù tortelli. I also recommend it to non-celiac people; you can't tell the difference at all. If I have the chance to return to Viareggio, I will gladly go back. Very satisfied with everything.

Good food, but terrible service, the seafood menu for 32 euros was unclear, it stated 5 courses but we only received one. Miserable portions, the menu said "water and wine" without specifying that the wine was not unlimited, and if you didn't ask for more water or bread, the basket remained empty, which is very rude. The staff were not very friendly, and the prices were very high. They didn't even offer coffee or a digestive included in the menu. Recommended for celiacs.
