Unfortunately, my experience with this ice cream shop was extremely disappointing. Yesterday, I ordered a semifreddo cake, I preferred to go the day before to avoid mistakes, carefully selecting the ingredients (being lactose intolerant) and the detailed composition. The saleswoman was going back and forth to the lab to ask questions and was writing down and then erasing on the same sheet. The pickup was set for today at 12:30 since we had to travel for an hour to go to the restaurant to celebrate three people's birthdays; I would have picked it up in a hurry, but as soon as I arrived at the ice cream shop, the cake they handed me was completely different, practically another cake. Suddenly, they told me they would fix it in 10 minutes, but they made a mess, they removed the cream, put on some pistachio cream, put back some cream, in short, a real soup. Even though they tried to remedy the situation at the time of the return, I reiterated the mistake. The saleswoman assured me that the cake had been fixed; in the end... the result was even more disappointing: the cake I received after the "change" was absolutely unsatisfactory, it had red syrup in the middle, it was overly sweet to the point of being sickening. It completely shattered my expectations. The quality was well below expectations, and the appearance left a lot to be desired; a lot. The timing also got away from them! And I had to apologize to my guests and the restaurant. Appointment at 1:30, I arrived at 2:10, a real inconvenience! As far as I'm concerned, the service was not only inefficient but also very unprofessional and disorganized. What I expected was a cake in accordance with the order, but the reality was quite different. I don't think this experience deserves anything but a negative review, and I consider my purchase completely unsatisfactory.

They are part of the AIC circuit, but the gluten-free flavors are limited and the price of the gluten-free cone is almost double compared to the regular one. However, there is a lot of attention to contamination. The availability of flavors for people without allergies or restrictive dietary choices is very wide. Generally, the staff is very helpful. There are no tables, only benches around the venue. Next to it, there is a wall fountain where you can wash your hands.

The only note I could make about this place is that there are no small sofas to enjoy the ice cream on site. Besides that, the ice cream is excellent, even for those with celiac disease. To those who complain that they have few gluten-free flavors, guys, come to Reggio to complain where the only ice cream shop has only six flavors and doesn't add whipped cream due to contamination risk, unlike here where they not only add whipped cream but also Nutella without any extra charge! Moreover, I had the chance to try one of their ice cream cakes and it was fabulous.

Excellent gelato, always smiling and kind staff. Super delicious and beautiful cakes. Not to mention their gluten-free options, they wash hands and scoops and have dedicated flavors. A fixed stop for 20 years! P.S. The home delivery is very convenient for both gelato and cakes.

Gluten-free semifreddo cake truly excellent. We chose it to make our wedding cake: stunning and delicious, we've never received so many spontaneous compliments for a cake...! And quite reasonable prices, compared to other wedding cakes. Ordered the same cake in miniature a couple of times, always delightful. Highly recommended.
