The Ristorante Pizzeria Porta Rosa offers a cozy atmosphere with dim lighting and rustic decor. The staff is friendly and the establishment offers a variety of dishes, including gluten-free options. Ideal for a quiet dinner near the archaeological excavations of Velia.

gluten-free pizza not very good, you can tell it's frozen. ATTENTION to contamination, it is cooked in the oven with the others. the menu offers a second course based on fish.

A well-known place in the area, the venue is nice but a bit dated. We ordered two spaghetti with clams that remained anonymous; they lacked the sauce that evokes the taste of the sea, and there were a few clams. My daughter had the gluten-free pizza while I had the mixed grilled fish... 30 euros for that dish seems really excessive. Courteous and attentive service... We entered with high expectations based on how our friends had sold it, but we came home a bit disappointed.

Inedible gluten-free pizza. Frozen dough. A sponge... The other regular pizzas are not bad, although being in Campania, one would expect something better.

Friendly staff and pleasant locale. The interior is very characteristic with dim lighting and rustic furniture. At the entrance, special fountains welcome you, but there is no view of the sea; rather, the locale borders a pharmacy and a parking lot near the archaeological excavations of Velia. You can taste pizzas (including gluten-free) which, in my opinion, do not measure up to the Neapolitan ones. Otherwise, the cuisine is good and you can choose at the end of dinner between coffee or liquor. Definitely try the grappa with raisins.
