Locanda Da Pia is a gem in the center of Pescara with a wide range of gluten-free options. The quality of the food, both meat and fish, is excellent, and the prices are in line with the offering. Fresh bread, spinach troccoli, and pizza are particularly appreciated.

For work in the city, I had dinner one evening in this very nice restaurant. Welcoming staff who are attentive to customers' needs. They have several options for celiacs including good gnocchi and loaves, both homemade. The dishes are a bit too salty for my taste but have good portions. Prices are in line with the average of places in the central area. Good raw materials and you can taste them. I'm updating the review in January 2026. I returned, but this time it was a different experience. I had spaghetti with clams, and they brought a plate that was decisively smaller than the 'normal' ones, with a surcharge of €3... Essentially, the dish cost €16, almost as much as a full menu they offer for €18-20. The other person with me ordered a menu, and the first course was more generous than mine. This is not correct behavior.

Great quality of food and value for money for both meat and fish. I had excellent gluten-free gnocchi with shrimp and clams and a superb fried fish and crunchy vegetable dish without gluten flour. The owner is celiac so maximum caution is taken. Wide variety of choices for us poor celiacs.

a gem in the center of Pescara. Although not part of the AFC circuit of AIC, they are very knowledgeable about celiac disease (among the owners) and have many gluten-free options. The gluten-free troccoli with spinach are delicious! The fish is excellent and the attention to preparation is commendable. Prices are in line with the quality offered. 5 stars for the fresh gluten-free bread!

Nice restaurant, friendly and helpful staff but a bit confused in managing some orders. Good quality and fair prices, one more star for having gluten-free options, with exceptional homemade sandwiches and spinach troccoli. Good but a bit sparse appetizer. The meatballs are also delicious, even the gluten-free ones. I recommend it, especially if you want to enjoy a gluten-free first course.
