Every time I pass through Mezzolombardo and have some time, I try to stop by: it has become a small habit, the pleasure of savoring some properly made pastries. The place is modern and welcoming, the staff is friendly and quite fast. And if you’re looking for something special, you can also find cakes by special order. For me, it’s not just a stop: it’s a small ritual to repeat every time I can.

I went to Bar La Stua in Mezzolombardo for breakfast and I was very satisfied, especially with the selection of gluten-free pastries. I had a cappuccino and a gluten-free Sachertorte, which was really delicious! They also offer chocolate cream puffs, Black Forest cake, fruit tarts, and other gluten-free delights. I recommend this bar to anyone looking for great gluten-free desserts in Mezzolombardo.

I attended La Stua during special and beautiful moments, when there was a reason to celebrate, in short. On one of these occasions, I had an unexpected disappointment. For an event, I booked 4 gluten-free pastries without nut ingredients a day in advance for children who go into anaphylactic shock if they eat them. (Of course, I ask the person in charge of orders to take the necessary care). I go to pick up the pastries, which are already packaged. (Great job, I think to myself; they had already packaged them in the lab, avoiding possible contamination). I hand the package directly to the mother who, thanks to her attention, checks the pastries... and what’s UNDERNEATH!?!?! (Don’t believe the words, look with your eyes). I work in the food sector, and I allow myself to give you a piece of advice, even if it’s unsolicited. If you offer certain services to your customers, make sure to do it WELL and with ATTENTION. Good work.

I bought a gluten-free and lactose-free cake for my birthday and it was divine! Besides being aesthetically beautiful, it was really good and light, the creams were amazing. None of the non-intolerant people initially noticed the difference from a regular cake. I also got some pastries and everyone liked them. Highly recommended experience, both for the intolerant and non-intolerant! I'll definitely return to try the rest.

Totally unreliable. I ordered a gluten-free cake for 10:30, the cake arrived at 11:30 and it wasn't gluten-free. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I understand a one-hour delay much less, and the staff present at that moment did not apologize or offer an alternative; all I got was a "I didn't take the order." I felt like I was wasting their time, considering there were quite a few people. Their desserts are good, but I will never turn to them again for occasions where it's important to have a dessert.

Large, modern, welcoming, has a little bit of everything. They also have a selection of gluten-free pastries (not contaminated, but it's better to call first to know if they have run out because they don't make a lot of them and at a certain point, they may run out of gluten-free sweets). They also serve ice cream in winter. I tried the activated charcoal brioche (vegan). Personally, I love them; they're crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Just be careful that when they fill them, they tend to be very generous with creams and jams. For example, I prefer them with very little filling, so I have to ask, but it's a matter of taste. They have many different and seemingly very good cakes.

Beautiful place, meticulously curated in every design detail. Amazing pastries and delicious coffee. Impeccable service: I was there on a Saturday morning, the cafe was crowded (though not excessively), but the service was very fast. The prices are EXCELLENT compared to the outstanding quality. Highly recommended! Note: There are also pastries available for those with lactose and gluten intolerances.
