Al Pruneto is an excellent Neapolitan pizzeria that offers a delicious gluten-free option, including fried foods and exquisite desserts. Ideal for those looking for a pizza with a thick crust and wood-fired, with quality ingredients and a welcoming staff. Highly recommended!

I ate here on August 4, 2025 - AIC certified venue with a separate kitchen: large menu and almost entirely available in gluten-free version - attentive, informed, and helpful waiters - I personally had a pizza that I found very good: the only downside was that it was a bit difficult to cut - high surcharge for gluten-free, but quite in line with other places I've eaten at

I frequent this place regularly with my 3-year-old daughter who follows a gluten-free diet due to celiac disease. They have the best gluten-free pizza we have ever tasted, as well as many other gluten-free dishes (appetizers, fried foods, and desserts). They are very careful about cross-contamination and prepare all gluten-free dishes in a separate kitchen.

Great Neapolitan pizzeria with gluten-free pizza options. The gluten-free pizza has a thick crust just like authentic Neapolitan pizza and tastes truly delicious. Excellent quality-to-price ratio and really high-quality ingredients. There are also some really delicious gluten-free fried snacks and desserts. Highly recommended!

Nice place.. with outdoor space, very good pizza both regular and gluten-free. Too bad about the 3 euro surcharge for a gluten-free pizza..! Excellent pizzas, well done!!

I went for dinner with my family on Saturday night on a colleague's recommendation. This pizzeria was specifically mentioned to me for the quality of its gluten-free pizza (we have 2 celiacs in the family). Overall, I must say I was quite pleasantly surprised: a small but nice place, good selection of dishes, and commendable that all appetizers had a gluten-free option (I tried crocché, montanara, and fries and I must say everything was good!). The dessert was also excellent (too bad they had run out of gluten-free lemon delights - but I will return hoping to find it) and definitely a special mention for the regular pizza because it is objectively one of the best Neapolitan pizzas you can find, at least in the province of Perugia. However, the gluten-free pizza was really not good!... it's a shame because from the photos I was shown and the reviews from other celiacs who had been there, the pizza was supposed to be really good... instead, it was objectively ugly to look at, super heavy, drenched in oil, with an extremely dense crust that tended to fall apart... in short... very bad. Now, I imagine and hope it was just a case of a recipe change... I think I will return to give them a second chance.. but I ask the owners if I have interpreted correctly and there was a

A place I do not recommend. Regarding the gluten-free pizza, the dough was heavy and doughy, excessively topped and cloying. About the latter, I found a compromising acidity in two of the three red pizzas we ordered (the third was white and had no anomalies). When I noted this, the waitress unprofessionally and rudely responded that they make the tomato that way and maybe I could order something else. We sent back full dishes and no one seemed to question anything. Overall, very slow service and low quality considering the place was empty.

Quiet environment, really kind and helpful staff, spectacular pizzas. We had a Parigina and a gluten-free, lactose-free Margherita, both very good.

Whether in-house or for takeout, it's one of my favorite places. Neapolitan pizza made with craftsmanship and passion by Giovanni, served by the professional and friendly Ilaria. We also tried the gluten-free option, and what can I say, you don't find pizzas like this around. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Authentic Neapolitan pizza with a thick crust and a balanced amount of salt. There is also a gluten-free option. Delicious, wood-fired, and served piping hot. Friendly and welcoming staff. I recommend it.
