I have been there several times. Maximum care for those with celiac disease, with contamination risk counterbalanced by the immense attention from the staff. You can go there with your eyes closed. Good and abundant food.

At the beginning of November, we returned to the Domus for the Gospel Connection. I was very hesitant about having to face the meals (I suffer from lactose intolerance), especially thinking about past experiences. Well, I changed my mind, thanks to the prompt and courteous service of the new head waiter, Mr. Stefano, who was always smiling and very accommodating. We were fortunate to have Cristina providing excellent service in the dining room, with exceptional courtesy and a sweetness that is now rare to find. Thank you very much to both of them.

We were guests at the Domus for an event with over 300 participants (Gospel Connection) and I must highlight that the hotel has improved a lot over the years and has a very convenient location as it is adjacent to the Porziuncola. The rooms are quite spacious and clean. Our group was on a Full Board basis and there were several people with intolerances. The staff who took care of us (particularly a waitress named Cristina, and the Head Waiter Stefano) went above and beyond to solve any problem. Really very skilled and professional. I would recommend this facility without hesitation.

Unfortunately, a truly disappointing experience. The facility could do so much, but it is poorly managed. The food is terrible, of low quality, and with no consideration for those with food intolerances or allergies—I would literally have preferred to fast rather than risk it. The staff was rude and unhelpful, seeming almost annoyed by any request. Even the cleanliness leaves much to be desired: poorly maintained rooms and neglected common areas. A real shame, because the place has potential, but as it is, I would not recommend it to anyone.
