Coeliacs will love the food in this place. Very reasonably priced and plenty of options for lunch / take away. Salami and cheese filled paninis were very tasty and the choices of cakes and treats were delightful. We went a few times during the week and the woman serving was very good, unfortunately the woman serving on Saturday was a bit rude to my wife when she took an ice cream from the fridge whilst the woman was still serving another customer, so be aware to wait your turn. Most unfortunate or would have given 5 stars all round.

This bakery was AMAZING! I tried cannoli, arancini, and several varieties of cookies. I then went back a second time even though the bakery was no where near my lodging. A place where everything is exclusively gluten-free: perfect for celiacs. Both the cannoli and the "genovesi" (try both with ricotta) are to die for. I could compare them to Totti's goal with the spoon at San Siro. The sandwiches and the "arancine" are also very good. Suitable for breakfast, snack, lunch, and dinner. great variety of choice. I had a small pizza with potatoes, an arancino, and a small sandwich filled with salami. the first two were very good, the third one a little less so but overall top-notch. There are also desserts that looked very tempting but I didn't try them.

Even the bomboloni we had deserve special mention, filled with cream and the dough was excellent. I returned one morning and the lady with short hair seemed very kind and professional. I think that especially the way one presents oneself always makes a difference. The arancina with ragĆ¹ is very good, potato focaccia is the same. The Sicilian cannolo is delicious, as are the Ć©clairs. The morning service was very kind and exquisite, while the afternoon cashier was grumpy and a bit impatient. It is also important to understand that tourists are not familiar with local baked goods, and the explanations they request should be provided with the appropriate courtesy, not with annoyance. With a touch of emotional intelligence, the choice becomes quicker.

Everything was excellent, both sweet and savory. We had breakfast on-site and a special mention goes to the bombolone: the best gluten-free one Iāve ever eaten. The savory take-out was excellent in all versions. The only regret is not being able to try the arancina because it wasn't ready yet.

After waking up at 4 in the morning to catch the flight from Venice to Palermo, we arrived at Piazza Politeama with an empty stomach. We found this cafƩ 10 minutes on foot because my girlfriend is celiac. Besides the very honest prices, we were shocked by how good the croissants and calzones were. What a shameful situation! For International Women's Day, I ordered a mimosa cake. When I went to pick it up, they handed me the cake already wrapped (first mistake, the cake should always be closed in front of the customer). Anyway, I trusted them (never trust!). I took the cake to a friend's house, thinking I would make a great impression, and as soon as we opened the cake box in front of everyone, total disappointment!! I felt mortified!! The cake was incomplete; as seen in the photo, it was missing all the decoration, the top, and the mimosa didn't have the characteristic yellow. It looked like pieces of sponge cake stuck together like bread. In short, the photo speaks for itself. You shouldn't do this, and even for a gluten-free cake, you charge us a hefty price. A cake like that should cost around 8 euros in a pastry shop, but you charged 12!!! And you dare to deliver this disgrace!? Slices of bread and cream for 12 euros!!!!! Outrageous! I felt cheated and betrayed in my trust, never again! Thanks for the embarrassing situation you made me go through. If you charge so much, you have a sacred obligation to check before delivering... And don't say this is how the cake is because the displayed ones had topping, yellow, and decorations.

However, I didnāt like the pastry products: the ingredients didnāt seem fresh to me, especially those on the pizza, and the meat in the arancini with peas was a bit subpar. I didnāt find anything that didnāt contain milk proteins; there needs to be more alternatives for everyone.

The best gluten free bread rolls. Sesamed rolls that are soft and fluffy and taste just like normal bread. Absolutely yummy. They also have some vegan focaccia options as well as a vegan ciambelle (sugared donut). Shame we found it at the end of our stay and only managed to go twice.

I was here with my boyfriend, and he, who is not gluten intolerant, ate a calzone, telling me there is no difference with the "normal" takeaway pieces. He even had seconds with an arancina. I was thrilled because the food is really good; they have both sweet and savory options, drinks of all kinds, and even the possibility of getting a cake!

I want to start by saying that I have been celiac for 23 years and have never eaten such good products! Every afternoon during my short (unfortunately) stay, I went for a "snack" there; you absolutely have to try the cannoli and the freshly baked bread. Here you can forget that you are celiac. There is truly everything and more, and it is all wonderfully beautiful to the eye and excellent to the palate. It's a shame not to have a gem like this in Tuscany as well. Everything is fantastic, make sure to absolutely try the cassata and the sette veli.

Very well stocked!! Another must-visit place when I come to Palermo (besides Feltrinelli), because, unfortunately, there is no bakery like this in Gela. Oh well. In the meantime, they have everything - really everything - so I refresh myself there.
