Before I sat down, I asked the staff if there were options for celiacs. They called the owner, who reassured me immediately when he said, "No problem, if you want pasta, just let me know, and I'll put the pot on to prepare your pasta." It's worth noting that the place was full and it was 2:00 PM when I arrived. I had to send the first plate of pasta back because it was salty, and the owner immediately had it remade, apologizing and telling me I was right because he tasted it after I sent it back. He apologized again when he brought me the second plate of pasta, which was perfect, and the cooking of the pasta was excellent. Despite this initial hiccup (which can happen even in the best kitchens), I consider the experience excellent, and I will return because I felt safe.
