We visited Acciuga, which recently introduced a new menu formula with more affordable prices, including daily specials, and three options priced at €25 (for lunch), €40 for three courses of choice, and €50 for four courses at the chef's discretion. We chose the latter to define our first experience in this establishment and to try to understand its philosophy. Exceptionally fresh fish, prepared simply with spices and seasonal vegetables. The only note we can make, but which certainly also depends on our personal taste, is the presence of vinegar in some dishes that tended to overpower the flavor of the fish. Exceptional risotto. The dining area is colorful, warm, and welcoming. The staff is young, a choice we appreciated, finding a group of kind, modest, and polite young people. The experience will also make them more self-assured. The wine list is very streamlined, focusing on Marche productions; a small expansion of the offer would surely enhance the dining experience. We thank the chef who acknowledged our report regarding the wine that unfortunately "tasted corked" (something absolutely unpredictable and that can happen, especially with cork stoppers) and promptly had the bottle replaced. Last but not least, the restaurant is part of the AIC circuit and therefore offers gluten-free dishes!
