I started with prejudices towards this pizzeria but I changed my mind. The pasta frittata was wonderful, the pizza is excellent (even the gluten-free), the crust is not too thick, you can tell that there has been good work put into the dough. The pastiera was also good and the offered coffee and 4 mini mozzarella balls were much appreciated (my companion asked for them while I was eating the frittata to avoid watching me eat since there are no gluten-free fried foods). The only downside was the tables being too close together, where you can hear everyone's conversations, and the parking was very limited. But I'll definitely be back!

I went to the pizzeria of Vincenzo Capuano in Porta Romana, Milan, with two friends on a cool evening in early August, and we arrived with high expectations, especially for the possibility of trying the gluten-free pizzas (as I am gluten intolerant). We made a reservation, but we still settled at a table outside to avoid waiting too long, since there were many people inside. We ordered four pizzas for three of us, two gluten-free and one regular, rolled 'wheel style' as requested, and three bottles of water. Unfortunately, despite the enthusiasm, the experience was not entirely satisfying. The ingredients seemed a bit disconnected from each other, and the flavors did not fully convince us. The gluten-free pizza, unfortunately, did not shine as we had expected. The welcome was good, but the service turned out to be a bit disorganized and rushed. The staff, although kind, seemed under pressure, which somewhat ruined the atmosphere of the evening. In any case, despite this experience not being up to our expectations, we are curious to try other Capuano locations in Milan, hoping that the experience there will be better.

Delicious pizza! Even for those who are lactose intolerant!\n\nFood: truly good! I was there on a Saturday evening with some friends; I noticed that my friend's pizza had a slightly burnt crust compared to the others. I ordered the pizza "domeniche lontane". I am lactose intolerant, so I had to get the pizza with lactose-free mozzarella. Usually, this type of mozzarella releases some water; however, this one was really good (even those without this intolerance said they didn’t notice any difference compared to regular mozzarella). I also tried a dessert and ordered the pastiera, which was fantastic, as if it were homemade.\n\nService: we had booked for 6 people, but unfortunately, the sixth person couldn't come, so we showed up with 5. They seated us first and then asked us to move to a smaller table for about four, and we were a bit cramped while eating. We didn’t think one person would "create problems."\n\nAmbiance: very nice and modern.\n\nPrice: pizza about €13 + lactose-free mozzarella €2 + dessert €7 + Coca-Cola + cover charge = €29.\nAffordable price and money well spent!
