The Osteria Stallo del Pomodoro is a typical venue that offers a wide selection of gluten-free dishes, with a welcoming and courteous staff. Recommended for its attention to gluten-free diets and the renowned tortellini.

Lovely restaurant, helpful and accommodating with respect to Gluten Free and vegetarian dietary requirements. Food was great, tasty and unlike the standard offerings in many other restaurants. The best meal so far during our four day break in the region. Thank you. Oh, nearly forgot, the wine was great too.

They seem to put a lot of effort into maintaining the establishment. The contamination is of sufficient safety and there is also simplicity in their dishes and services. They are also very accommodating to customers. I would add a few more dishes to the menu.

Uncommentable. We ordered 3 plates of tortellini in broth (one gluten-free). When the dishes arrived, we asked for Parmesan cheese. They bluntly replied, "In this establishment, we serve tortellini without cheese." Surprised, we asked for clarification, and the young owner was quite impolite. I explained that we would have preferred to have it brought to us (I specify that they serve it with other first courses), but he responded that the establishment has been open since '92, they have never made exceptions, and certainly would not make one this time because for them, tortellini is eaten without cheese. Okay, you are the owner. Do as you wish. BUT LET ME KNOW IN ADVANCE. I told him this, and he responded to my suggestion, "Ah, I don’t have time, I have to go take an order at another table." If for you tortellini is to be served without cheese, you should inform me of this choice before ordering. If you bring me a salad where you think vinegar doesn't belong, do I have to eat the salad without vinegar because you decide so? I paid for the cover charge in full, though (and cheese is part of the cover). First and last time.

Typical Modenese food, from boiled meats, homemade pasta, sauces, and excellent sweets. The staff is attentive and helpful. The location is very nice, close to the bustling heart of the city.

Tasty food, but unfortunately the portions are quite small. The staff proved to be quite unwelcoming and rude from the outset, even going so far as to invite us, with some questionable "humor", to leave the place prematurely after we did not order dessert.

Cute place and excellent food. I had gluten-free tortellini in broth and they were really, really good. The service was the worst part: from the moment we entered until we left, the waiters talked to us very little, only to take our orders, and did not say a word to welcome us or say goodbye. Additionally, it was not possible to have a Coca-Cola Zero because they didn't have it (not even the regular one); I think this is a choice of the restaurant, to only offer water and wine to their customers apparently (a choice that I do not agree with at all). Good, but I wouldn't go back.

I found the place while searching for gluten-free options in Modena, nice venue, friendly staff, but something on the menu didn't quite agree with my gluten and lactose intolerances, despite the necessary specifications. The price was a bit high too, two cabbage rolls, tortellini in broth, baked potatoes, a slice of chestnut cake, and a bottle of water for €44.50, also considering the cover charge of €3.50... I was pleased to try some typical dishes, but I don't think I would return.

Perfect!!

Very nice and welcoming place, good service but not very quick. Exceptional choice of gluten-free, vegetarian, and traditional food; however, we found some dishes lacking in quantity (the gluten-free tortellini and especially the maltagliati were really few). Prices are not cheap, but appropriate for the context and location. A special mention to the wine, an excellent Nebbiolo.

Good food, the only inn where I could taste gluten-free tortelli, the best. The location is not among my favorites... but the dishes are of Modenese tradition and very well catered for gluten-free.

Beautiful location in the center of Modena, excellent food (including gluten-free options) with a fixed part and one that follows seasonal availability, very good service as well. Great wine cellar.

Location of the AIC circuit, superlative tortellini in broth, fantastic dinner, everything was delicious. Highly recommended.

The gluten-free tortellini are excellent, many dishes on the menu have a gluten-free version.

Delicious food, almost everything is available in a gluten-free version.

Fantastic place. Lots of choices for gluten-free products, and the tortellini in Parmesan cream I found fabulous. The zucchini flan as a starter is perhaps the best appetizer I have ever eaten. The gluten-free focaccia is worth trying: very good and without any difference from the normal one. I will definitely return.

Excellent! The focaccia served as an accompaniment is also impeccable.

Nice place where you eat very well and drink an excellent Lambrusco.

I went because the place is located in the center and because I was with someone who has celiac disease. We arrived late and the owner was kind enough to accept us anyway. I have to say that the food was fresh except for the bread (old and hard). Overall acceptable but not recommended to friends or acquaintances.
