I would like to start with two premises. The first is that we understand the style of the hotel and that it is an old villa. The second is that we paid for the services and conditions of a 4-star hotel. That being said, the conditions of the room were those of a 2/3-star hotel where maintenance is not a priority for the establishment. A typical 4-star kit was not provided. There were no slippers and shower gel, for example. The sheets were frayed, the fixtures were falling apart, the bathroom sink faucet was dirty and difficult to open, and the radiator was rusty, with the corner of the bed frame completely ruined. And these are just a few details. We are sorry, but an hotel that charges more than €200 a night in January cannot be like this. The breakfast was good, and we have nothing to say about that. We appreciated the presence of products for celiac people and the made-to-order crepes and omelet service. (We have already reported our dissatisfaction to the reception).

Luxury hotel a stone's throw from the center. Friendly and essential staff. Room below expectations: small, equipped only with soap, body cream, shampoo, and conditioner, nothing else. Tiny window with drafts coming in. Fairly clean. Comfortable bed though. Essential breakfast with a few gluten-free products (three). Having read about an indoor pool, I was told that my room type did not include access....high expectations but many unmet.
