A well-known pastry shop in Palermo, and they have also been very good at creating an entire pastry business dedicated to celiac disease. We managed to purchase some visually appealing and tasty individual portions. It was a pleasant surprise. The staff was kind and very quick to explain the products. They also offer products that are not only gluten-free but also lactose-free. Highly recommended.

I’m sorry to leave this negative review as I know you have excellent products and very kind staff. However, being lactose intolerant and allergic to milk proteins and eggs, I asked for a vegan croissant. The only problem was that it was in contact with non-vegan croissants, which meant I couldn’t eat it since it was contaminated. I hope this issue is resolved in the future, also for people who have the same problem and come to eat with you.

If you are in Palermo, you cannot miss out on "pieces" of street food and sweets.... BUT if you are celiac, you need to be a little careful :-) Here, I'm going for a sure hit, Gluten-Free Street Food and Pastry with plenty of "leavening agents" for a fantastic breakfast. The cakes are also delicious, with attention for those intolerant to MILK. If you are in Palermo and are celiac, you absolutely must stop here. Recommended!

Salvo Albicocco is a genius of gluten-free! Everything is delicious and well cared for. Great layout of products, perfect service at the counter and at the table. The customer is well taken care of. The baristas are all very kind and polite. They take good care of the customer with many attentions. We could eat everything without fear of encountering gluten contamination. It almost didn't seem possible to see all that gluten-free goodness and also lactose-free. Truly impressive! We noticed the attention and respect for the customer, also observing two microwaves, different for their use, for gluten-free and regular products. Then the cherry on top was the courtesy of Rosario, a very skilled and kind barista, meticulous and attentive, who guided us through this pleasant experience from the beginning to the end of our stay in the store. Friendly and cordial! A gem! Such staff should be cherished and kept close! We interacted with him, without taking anything away from the girls, who were also kind and ready! What can I say?
