Restaurant, in my opinion, specialized in the preparation of 'Fritto Toscano', in different variations and I finally managed to eat an excellent 'mixed fry' (with chicken, rabbit and even brain) GLUTEN FREE! By now I had lost all hope that there was a restaurant organized to do it safely and without contamination. Next time I will try the many other gluten-free dishes (among appetizers, first courses and second courses) they prepare. Congratulations!

It is a solid and versatile restaurant located in the hills between Le Croci di Calenzano and the Barberino outlet: substantial Tuscan cuisine, generous portions, good quality/price ratio, and an unexpected variety of choices including meat, fried food, and fish, with attention also given to gluten-free and vegan options. The environment is well-maintained and informal, with convenient parking, an outdoor veranda for the beautiful season, and friendly service; booking is recommended on weekends.

The environment is nice, outdoor seating under a pergola, service was too serious and detached from friendliness; a smile and a couple of chats can sometimes make a difference. Pici with wild boar ragù was perfectly cooked, but the chef was a bit too generous with the salt. Pici cacio e pepe were excellent, gluten-free tagliatelle with ragù were good, fried potatoes were nice and dry. Recommended restaurant...
