I felt misled as the name of the bakery says gluten free, but the majority of the products were not gluten free. the staff was quite unfriendly and not very understanding. didn’t feel 100% safe. i had a savoury pastry that was quite good, but the sweet pastry was just a dry bun with a little nuttela inside. wouldn’t reccomend.

How tasty! Wide selection of products both with and without gluten, so perfect for celiacs too. I got a cream croissant and a 'genovese', both gluten-free. They were spectacular, very, very good. Perhaps the best gluten-free 'genovese' I've ever had. Excellent value for money.

Here you can find high-quality pastry and ice cream without gluten and dairy. It is one of the few ice cream shops in the city and province where you can enjoy ice cream even if you are intolerant to milk proteins. No cross-contamination. I highly recommend the Santa Rosalia flavor among the milk-based ice creams, a dive into ancient flavors. Compliments also for the kindness of the staff, Antonella and Francesco.

Best GF pastries Ever – Amazing GF Options! So far, these are the best Gluten Free pastries I’ve ever had! They offer a great selection of gluten-free sweets, and everything I tried was incredible. The gluten-free croissant was absolutely AMAZING – buttery, flaky, perfect. The cannoli were also delicious (just ask for them – they keep them at the back). I’ll definitely be back. Highly, highly recommend this spot!

Spectacular gluten-free products for celiacs! I've never eaten a croissant and a pain au chocolat so flaky, not even in Paris. Without a doubt, the best I've ever had. The bombolone with a thin dough is hard to find gluten-free. Super honest prices; for 3 sweets, 2 savory items, and 2 coffees, we spent 14 euros. In the shop, gluten-containing products are marked while the regular products are the gluten-free ones. Even behind the counter, you can see separated dedicated tools for gluten and gluten-free products. I hope to return soon, thank you 💞

Outrageous prices and poor quality. Nothing to do with true Sicilian tradition. Cheap manufacturing but paid for at the cost of a fortune. I still haven't checked if the products are really gluten-free... we'll see.

From the photos on Google and the many positive reviews, I would say I entered with high expectations. Alas, I was extremely disappointed: very little choice of savory dishes and the sweets were overly sweet. Total rudeness from the girl behind the counter. It's a shame that one of the few places that serves gluten-free food is so poorly valued.

It is a pleasure for the eyes to see so many gluten-free options, a café that is entirely for us intolerant people. The desserts were really good (cannoli and bomba), but unfortunately, there is still a lot of work to be done on the savory dishes. Overall, a good place to go. Friendly waiters.

I recently discovered this place, thanks to my father with whom I tasted this exquisite dessert from the pastry shop Les Caprices today. Excellent, fresh, and with top quality ingredients: I am very happy to have rediscovered the pleasure of a "real" dessert despite my strong lactose intolerance! Very kind and helpful staff. This evening I tasted the vegan cake I had ordered for my mom's birthday. The cake was made with pistachio sponge cake, yellow cream, whipped cream, and strawberries. The plant-based creams were amazing, I give them a 10, but the sponge cake was hard and almost inedible. I don't know if it was a gluten-free variant; I had asked for a vegan cake but not gluten-free, but perhaps this pastry shop produces everything gluten-free? In any case, the cake was disappointing overall; I recommend improving the quality of the vegan pistachio sponge cake, it was too hard ☹️

A landmark for greedy people, gluten-free and not. Good assortment of gluten-free street food and pastries. Excellent coffee. Well-furnished venue with a few outdoor tables. Unfortunately, Viale Regione Siciliana is chaotic. You can find the place even without a navigator due to the double-parked cars of the greedy even at the intersection in front of the newsstand.

Terrible. I asked for a gluten-free vegetarian pizza. Not only did I not receive any help in choosing, but the employee pointed me to a pizza with mushrooms and mozzarella on top. After several bites, I discovered that there was cooked ham on it. I went to tell the waiter, and he, without any apology or way to change it, completely indifferent, told me it wasn't visible. I advise against it to any vegetarian and vegan. Very few gluten-free and lactose-free options.

Salvo's desserts are always the best, and now that I have lactose intolerance, I've found the perfect solution. I bought a pistachio seven layers cake without lactose for my father's birthday, it was delicious, delicate, and not overly sweet, which even the non-intolerant enjoyed. I especially thank Federica because not only on this occasion, but on many previous ones, she has always been kind and available in providing all the information to guide me in choosing the cake that best suited our tastes. In Palermo for work, I stumbled upon this paradise for celiacs, unparalleled, top quality and a taste that made me remember the old times.. Absolutely not to be missed. Taste the traditional arancini (or arancine) and the pieces of roasted delicacies, then, what to say about the gluten-free croissants, an explosion of flavor and lightness, finally without that buttery heaviness that we often encounter in these products, with pistachio cream, very good, don’t waste time and try them!!!

This place provides everything! In our family, we have issues with yeast and gluten. We requested a cake according to our allergies, and they completely met our needs. Beautiful cake, ample supply of decorations to put on the cake, and very elegant packaging.
