I hadn't eaten melon jelly for years: it was a very pleasant surprise to find it here and I must say it was also very good 😋 I recommend it 😉

Very good gelato (I tried the gluten-free cone), they are really very attentive and kind. The only thing that left me a bit puzzled was the use of the scoop for the gelato, which I believe they put in the same container with water as the others. Other than that, impeccable. The staff is very aware of the gluten-free procedure.

Last night I went to get ice cream with my children. They were very kind, very quick, and the ice cream was delicious! When I went to pay, I noticed that on the menu behind the counter it said "gluten-free ice cream". I asked for clarification and the girl was very courteous and explained everything to me. I brought the ice cream to the kids and convinced myself to try this gluten-free ice cream. When I entered, I was told that all the displayed ice creams were contaminated, and they couldn't serve me anything! Honestly, I was left speechless; anyone dealing with gluten-free should have uncontaminated ice creams, separated from those for non-celiacs. I was stunned, I understand it was just an excuse to not serve me because they were about to close (it was almost midnight). Probably, as often happens, the uncontaminated ice cream is kept in the back and not displayed to the public. I can never know this for sure, but I would have definitely made them lose 5 more minutes than necessary. I want to emphasize that for NON-celiacs, the ice cream was good and the girl who served me was very nice, I can't say the same about the guy who rushed me out in 1 minute. It already weighs heavily to be different because of a DISEASE, it weighs even more when you meet people who don’t understand the discomfort and you can't even enjoy an ice cream. If they then don’t serve it to you, it’s even worse.

Very popular, on Via Notarbartolo, an excellent ice cream shop that offers traditional and non-traditional flavors. The brioche are soft as per tradition, and there are also whole grain and gluten-free options. The staff wears gloves and is very friendly. On Fridays and Saturdays, it's open until 1 a.m. The portions are generous, the prices a bit high compared to the average, and the amount of ice cream on the brioche varies depending on who prepares it. I would only ask for a bit more attention to cleanliness in the adjacent sidewalk area since many customers pass by and stop there.
