This has got to be the best restaurant experience I’ve got in Florence. The service was really good. The food was amazing we had the pasta gluten-free and they are really good with preventing cross contamination. And the desert was really good, especially the pistachio cheesecake the owner of this place Gabriel was really funny and talkative and he made the experience really good. This was my graduation and my girlfriend asked them to surprise me with a candlelit cake. She is amazing and Gabrielle took the assignment with all of his heart. He put on we are the champions music gave me a nice speech and he made a nice toast to me and congratulated me. Lastly, my girlfriend has eaten here multiple times before and she has always been very satisfied with service and with the food she is coeliac.

Easily the best meal of our holiday. A proper restaurant setting, serving top quality Tuscan food with nice atmosphere and great service. The attention to detail and level of care for gluten free customers is exceptional.

We dined at this wonderful osteria and had the HONOR of tasting not only the marvelous Florentine steak but also homemade gluten-free pasta. The menu guarantees a dinner with extremely high levels of quality, and the attentive staff in every detail and kindness contributed to giving us a wonderful evening. After a long time, last night I dined with the awareness and tranquility of not having to feel unwell. Thank you so much. P.S. The desserts are also all gluten-free, but the chocolate cake is something marvelous.

excellent quality food and attentive and courteous staff, I absolutely recommend it.

Truly a fantastic experience. The entire menu is also available in gluten-free version, beautiful, characteristic and quiet venue. Refined food, excellent wine, impeccable service.

It's a TOP place. I spent 5 evenings with my wife and son. Very, very friendly staff. Really good food. They also have a menu for celiacs. Prices are reasonable, indeed, for the quality, I find them even low. The tavern is located in a strategic place near Piazza Signorile and Piazza Duomo. I recommend it to everyone. A typical place suitable for families. I will definitely return.

A truly complete gluten-free menu with dishes from Tuscan tradition as well. The one I tried was delicious.

I used to come to this restaurant often from Florence, and I found it changed with regret :( They are very knowledgeable about gluten-free options (there's a complete separate menu), but 8 ravioli for a first course that costs €16.50 seems a bit excessive to me. Similarly, €4 for water and €3.50 for cover charge. Overall, we ate quite well, but it's definitely too expensive for the quality, perhaps in line with the local restaurants just for tourists.
5
Excellent food and extreme attention to allergies and intolerances. Separate menu for gluten-free, qualified staff ready to explain how contamination is managed. We had an appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert without spending too much.
5
Wonderful dinner, the venue is very, very beautiful and welcoming. As a celiac, I had a special gluten-free menu. The food was delicious and of the highest quality. The spaghetti alla chitarra with burrata, pistachios, and shrimp tartare is something out of this world 🫶🏻

A good restaurant in the center of Florence, with a varied menu and many gluten-free dishes! The meat is excellent! Definitely recommended.
5
Delicious food, I finally found a menu completely dedicated to gluten-free options, just like my companion's with gluten without having to give up anything! Excellent service, we were attended to in every way with great customer care, both in terms of service and regarding the explanation of the various dishes.
5
Delicious food, I finally found a completely gluten-free menu, identical to my partner's gluten menu without having to give up anything! Excellent service, we were looked after in every way with a lot of attention to the customer, both in terms of service and in explaining the various dishes.
5
Safety and goodness for celiacs! Complete menu with gluten and a separate gluten-free menu. Appetizers, first courses, main courses, desserts. Many good options. Recommended for eating well and safely. In the photos, gluten-free dishes, and also a cheesecake not photographed.
4
Very nice place, AIC certified, with a menu for celiacs and a regular menu; highly recommended!
5

I am very sorry to leave a not-so-positive review because we were really hoping to like the place. I ordered gluten-free tagliolini with truffle, which, due to a kitchen shortage, were replaced with pappardelle. The pasta itself was fine; it would have been very good with an adequate sauce… unfortunately, the truffle was absolutely tasteless. You could tell it was old or of low quality, and there was really very little of it, so even if you wanted to, you wouldn't taste much. My companion's tortellini were equally bland. Such a shame.

Truly an exceptional experience! Elegant, refined, and meticulously curated venue. The specialties are the typical dishes of Florentine and Tuscan tradition. The excellent quality of the raw materials and the careful preparation ensure that the dishes are truly exquisite and delicatessen. The offering is divided into two menus: one with traditional ingredients and one entirely gluten-free (from appetizers to dessert). Wide selection of Tuscan wines, from Chianti to Supertuscan. Impeccable service and great background music. An ideal atmosphere for a romantic dinner and more.

Very good gluten-free food and a wide variety of different pasta formats. The table where we had lunch had a constant flow of cold air coming from the cellar. Otherwise, the venue had good raw materials and a wide choice of gluten-free dishes.
5
Great place, friendly staff, and spectacular food. The meat is very tender, and the pasta dishes are very tasty. As a celiac, I was able to eat comfortably and very well.
5
everything is delicious! the homemade spaghetti alla chitarra are excellent!
3
Good food but nothing special, absolutely not worth the price and the service is poor.
5
Discovered by chance the restaurant with my celiac daughter. Great dishes and quick and friendly service on a Saturday evening.

We had dinner in this restaurant with some friends. The place is very well-kept and welcoming, with a nice warm atmosphere. The menu is varied and there are also gluten-free options. We opted for various dishes with truffles; the spaghetti with burrata and red shrimp were very good, but the biggest surprise was the chickpeas with truffle sauce. The bill was a bit high but appropriate for the experience we had.
5
everything is delicious from the appetizer to the desserts

Stunning location and delicious food. Super fair price-quality ratio! I recommend the asparagus soufflé, it's out of this world. Highly approved!
5
Delicious and high-quality food, spectacular Florentine steak. Prices are reasonable. We ate there twice and were more than satisfied. The gluten-free food is spectacular. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and refined. Highly recommended!

Top-level food
4
very good food, cozy place, and AIC certified, they have the menu with all allergens so anyone can find something to eat. We had a good time, and we will definitely return. The only small downside is that it is not the cheapest on the market.
5
Returned to Florence after several years, this time we were swept away by a unique culinary experience in this beautiful place in the heart of Florence! We opted for a truffle-based dinner accompanied by a large variety of wines, exquisite food that was so good we returned for lunch the next day! Well-prepared staff, attentive and caring towards the customer! I highly recommend this restaurant, particularly for its diversity compared to the "classic" trattorias in Florence, and especially one of the few "gluten-free" places. In conclusion, I can only say that I had high expectations that were more than satisfied! Thank you, Gabriel, for this fantastic experience; we will be back soon!
5
excellent food, practically almost the entire menu overlapping, great Tuscan food and fair prices, I will definitely return
5
delicious food and a menu with various choices. In the end, they even offered us limoncello 😍
5
The best gluten-free restaurant I've ever tried, period. Delicious food, kind staff, we had a great meal. The place has an intimate and elegant atmosphere. Highly recommended!
4
A few steps from the Ponte Vecchio, "Il Desco" is an intimate and somewhat hidden venue that offers typical Tuscan dishes in a gluten-free version. I recommend trying the gnocchi with gorgonzola and walnuts and the tagliatelle with mushrooms. Very good!
4
We had dinner throughout our stay in Florence. I must say we had a great time, the staff was friendly but maybe a bit too serious, the food was excellent. I recommend it especially for those with celiac disease.
5
Intimate place in the heart of Florence, very nice. The food, from appetizers to desserts, is SPECTACULAR! There is a lot of gluten-free choice, and it's also good (not to be underestimated). I highly recommend it.
5
Location: 9.5 rating, renewed and very charming location. Services: 9.5 rating, two very friendly brothers who know how to assist customers during their stay! Menu: 10 well done with many choices including classic Florentine dishes and especially an EXCELLENT GLUTEN FREE service! Bill: 9.5 very fair and well deserved! RECOMMENDED!👍🏻👏🏼
5
They welcomed us very kindly despite the late hour, which shouldn't be underestimated! A very nice and cozy place, perfect for a romantic dinner... gluten-free dishes are delicious and well presented, homemade bread is excellent, and the cheesecake is superb!!! Fast service, fair price, and very kind staff. I absolutely recommend it!

I have eaten at this restaurant several times. I often go to Florence just to come here. Never had problems. Excellent service, fast and friendly. Always very short waits. Highest quality of food. You can eat the best Fiorentina in the city, some of the finest cheeses in the world, Tagliolini with truffles that you probably have never tasted before, and drink excellent wines. The staff is always available and very kind. Truly a restaurant of the HIGHEST LEVEL. A must for anyone passing through Florence, even just for an evening. P.S. Also great for Celiacs (recognized by AIC: Italian Celiac Association).

Also for coeliacs. A small but welcoming place. I ate wild boar with polenta and mushrooms: good, although I would have appreciated a handful more of mushrooms. The gluten-free bread they brought me was also pleasant. The roasted potatoes we had as an appetizer were excellent.
5
It is not very large, but in its smallness, it is very warm and welcoming. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Varied menu with some dishes off the menu, and there is also one for coeliacs. I highly recommend the gnocchi with gorgonzola fondue, pears, and walnuts, the Angus tartare, and for dessert, the cheesecake with mixed berries. The price is good, with a cost ranging from 40 to 50 euros per person.

A lovely dinner with my partner. The atmosphere is softly lit and intimate... we ate and drank very well, and the service is noteworthy. A waiter recommended an excellent wine, the Carpineto, which has won an award for excellence among Italian wines. The price of the wine, by the way, is reasonable, 30 euros. The place also offers gluten-free cuisine and has a dedicated menu. Good!

A nice clean place with great people. The appetizers were excellent; however, today we encountered two identical gluten-free first courses that were too salty to eat, and a second course that was equally salty, making it impossible to eat, despite the quality of the meat being excellent.
