Located five minutes by car from the Modena Sud exit, the restaurant is easily accessible even for those who want to stop for a meal during a trip. The restaurant part focuses on classic Emilian cuisine, with first courses such as tortellini, tortelloni, and tagliatelle made strictly in-house. The classic second courses of Emilian cuisine that are popular in this restaurant include the famous tigelle and gnocco fritto, always accompanied by cheeses and cold cuts, as well as the classic chicken cacciatora and homemade jams. Meat dishes are also available, such as tagliata and the classic mixed grill, or less common dishes like fried frog legs. The desserts are varied and mostly homemade, although some are externally sourced. The pizzeria part diverges from the classic idea of pizza (Neapolitan pizza), serving thin and fragrant pizzas that personally left me very satisfied. The pizzas are baked in a wood-fired oven, richly topped, and despite this, they turn out very light, and their dough is easily digestible. This allows diners to enjoy a complete meal without leaving the place feeling heavy from the pasta binge often resulting from the pizza crust that many leave behind due to exhaustion. The service is one of the best I've experienced. The floor staff is very young and predominantly female, yet they never lack professionalism, competence, and courtesy. The place can accommodate about 130 guests, which expands in the summer with an additional eighty seats outside. Despite the large number of seats, it is practically impossible to find a table without a reservation. The place is very popular among locals and also among those who have had the pleasure of discovering it, who always return willingly, so without a reservation, they are unlikely to accommodate you on-site, even during the week. The restaurant offers takeout options for both the pizzeria and the restaurant. Personally, I have found it to be a great environment and treatment. I have always eaten well without any issues, despite having intolerance and digestion problems. I highly recommend it if you pass through the area. And if you have the chance to visit more than once, I advise you to explore their menu choices to sample all the dishes they have to offer.
