I was mistakenly served a sandwich with gluten, despite having asked for a gluten-free sandwich and beer (which did actually arrive gluten-free). I only realized it after the first bite, and the staff not only did not apologize in any way, but when it was time to pay, I was also told that the mistake was mine because I had not properly indicated my celiac disease. Absurd from a place that even displays the AIC certificate. The behavior of the waiting staff was totally inappropriate and unprofessional.

The gluten-free food here is good, the prices are not low but the staff is attentive and prepared. There is a play area for children.

We arrive there and find a sign on a blackboard saying "tonight no gluten-free food will be served." Having made a reservation for 10 and having a 5-year-old celiac child, we had asked if we could grab a sandwich on the go from McDonald's for the girl so that we could all have dinner together, but we were denied and left.

I went to this place because they have the AIC mark and I am celiac. After ordering a gluten-free sandwich and a gluten-free beer. Although the beer arrived gluten-free, the sandwich arrived normal with gluten. Unfortunately, I realized it only after the first bite, at which point I pointed out the serious mistake, but no one apologized. In fact, when it came time to pay, I was made to feel that the misunderstanding was my fault, as the waitress claimed I hadn’t specified that I wanted the sandwich gluten-free. I was shocked by the total inappropriateness of the staff in handling such a situation.

Very well-kept and maintained restaurant. I went there for dinner and was pleasantly surprised to see that the menu had a wide range of choices, all very appetizing. It was also great to have the option of gluten-free foods for those who are celiac. Most dishes included sides of roasted or fried potatoes, salad, and similar. The food was good and had a good quality-to-price ratio. The staff was very polite and helpful, and the waiting time after ordering was very short.

Very good food and really kind staff. A bonus point because they have a menu dedicated to gluten-free, which my son really enjoyed (classic hamburger and fries).

We discovered Lowengrube because we were looking for a gluten-free sandwich. We had dinner for two on a fairly calm (and rainy) evening. The venue is in full Bavarian style, including the waiters' uniforms. We chose to try a portion of sauerkraut (double sauerkraut, white and red) and two sandwiches (one of which was gluten-free) accompanied by a Dauna gluten-free beer. The sandwiches are very good, tasty but not overflowing to the point of losing all the filling. A plus is having AIC certification. The bill is average (around €15 per person).
