What can I say, they probably produce the best gluten-free products ever seen. From cakes to savory items, from pizzas to fresh pasta, from panettone to fresh bread. Very clean store with very helpful and knowledgeable service. Frozen fresh pasta, grissini, cookies, and frozen pizza can be purchased with gluten-free vouchers.

The open kitchen makes everything feel so homely and familiar, while being a truly large laboratory capable of providing many services, including wedding cakes. We actually asked them to prepare our wedding cake, which turned out to be an excellent choice appreciated by all guests, gluten-free and non. It is especially worth noting the enormous attention and care for all types of allergies (including those discovered at the last minute!)

The mini pastries are delicious, and I say this as a non-celiac, plus the price is the same as any other pastry shop in Bologna. For me, it's a happy discovery, especially for those who cannot consume gluten...

Unfortunately, I have to report an unacceptable service issue at a time when customer service really makes a difference. I purchased a birthday cake made of sponge cake and pistachio to keep in the fridge, which was to be consumed that very evening. Unfortunately, when I opened it, the cake had collapsed; the top layer slid off the bottom layer, splitting it in two, despite the containment ribbon. We tried to fix it, but of course, it cracked in the chocolate coating and the decorative cream got ruined. Result: unacceptable. We ate it anyway, and it was delicious, but absolutely unsuitable for an event like a birthday. I called the next day to report the issue, and they apologized, saying they would try to prevent this from happening in the future. I expected, as anyone would, something more, like a discount voucher or an offer on the next cake, considering the not exactly low prices of gluten-free desserts. But this did not happen. This is why I gave three stars. The opportunity to redeem themselves was given, but it was not taken. I'm very sorry because the products are good, but customer care is not as good.

Finally a gluten-free bakery!! So far, I have only tried the savory options like the pizza al taglio and the focaccia...both divine. I don't have photos because I devoured everything before I realized it. The mini pastries are also worth mentioning. I have an excellent pastry chef at home, but Simone's sweets are equally good and light. Give me some time and I will add photos and products. The price is fair and the quality is high. Celiacs, and not, try this bakery!!
