At lunch, we went to this place. The staff was prepared for every kind of need; we ordered a mixed fried platter for two and two first courses. Mine (gluten-free) unfortunately was quite al dente, so I couldn't enjoy it to the fullest.

Varied and entirely replicable gluten-free menu. I had lunch there with a celiac friend, and it was a relief not to have to explain what "contamination" means. We had a mixed fried appetizer and 2 wraps, everything was delicious. The staff was super friendly, the atmosphere welcoming, and the prices were very fair. We didn't pay outrageous surcharges for gluten-free options; if I'm not mistaken, it was only 1 euro per dish, but it's all clearly stated on the menu. I highly recommend it.

Great central location just a few steps from the Teatro Massimo. Friendly staff and attentive service. Cozy and welcoming space. I didn't try the gluten-free cuisine but I had 2 traditional dishes. I preferred the Anciova over the carbonara, which in my opinion had the guanciale too soft and not crispy enough, plus it was made with a pecorino that didn't excite me, but tastes vary. The pasta with Anciova, on the other hand, had a very well-balanced traditional flavor. Some dishes could have their prices slightly adjusted. Overall, I currently give it 4 stars and plan to return to try more.

What an amazing find! I was lucky to get a table at around 2pm on a Sunday, and I'm so glad I did. The waiters are charming, friendly, and very helpful. I'm dairy-intolerant, but they were happy to give me Pecorino (ewe) instead of Parmesano with my meal. I had the Sliced Beef with Rocket and Cheese, and it was lovely. The beef was cooked to perfection, medium-rare as I asked for. The taste was fantastic, really good. I also had a glass of organic Nero d'Avola, and ended with a Caffe Lungo. The atmosphere is wonderful. I could tell there were a good mix of returning customers, Italians, and tourists. The decor is quirky and unique, with sayings and poetry in Italian and in English all around, and fantastic sketches of famous people on the back wall where I sat. I'll go again. I highly recommend this restaurant. Great food, great service, great ambience

I am a celiac since 2009. I must say I had the best food since ever. They can make everything, except one meal, on the menu glutenfree with 100% sure, without the risk of cross contaminations. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone! Nice ambiente, good service and delicious food.

As a Sicilian with a refined and demanding palate, and as the mother of a celiac girl, I can only give a 10 with honors to this wonderful AIC-certified venue that is very attentive to celiac disease, which I emphasize in every review around Italy is an illness, NOT a dietary choice! The breading of the arancina is nothing short of perfect, nothing different from glutenous breading. The mixed fried platter, strictly gluten-free, is abundant and excellent, not greasy at all, everything fried to perfection! We then had the sardine rolls and the swordfish ones (with gluten but also available gluten-free), we preferred the latter over the former. There is a wide selection of desserts that we did not try because we left satisfied and with full bellies 😅. Honest prices and high quality. Compliments to the guys who served us with kindness, friendliness, and professionalism, and compliments to the owner, a lady with whom we stopped to chat. Thank you for your sensitivity towards celiac disease. We will return to visit you.

Having just arrived in Palermo and starving at 4.30pm, we didn't have many options available for a sit down meal. The food is decent, nothing amazing but it's good value for the cost. We found that the pasta and risotto were tastier than their starters. This place would be great for people with dietary intolerances (probably a rarity for Italy). The service was attentive too.

We spent four days on vacation in Palermo and for two evenings we dined at Bistrot 107. The dishes are truly good, not banal, and above all there are many gluten-free options. The menu has various options that can satisfy everyone. The staff are very knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. As a celiac, I enjoyed my arancino with the ragù of a lifetime! Outside they have the AIC sign; I don't know for sure if they have a separate kitchen. The menu is the same and can be made gluten-free. I didn’t have any issues anyway! As a celiac, I would return to Palermo especially to eat! WOW

Just a few steps from the famous Teatro Massimo, walking along via Cavour towards the sea, you find this small but cozy place that offers dishes for people with celiac disease. Everything is very good, starting from the rustic appetizer which included various bruschettas, chips, onion fritters, panelle, and arancinetti, etc. The first courses are truly excellent; I had tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, stracciatella, and pistachio pesto. The dessert was also good, although it was the least favorite dish for me, a pistachio cheesecake.

I start by saying that I love Palermo. Whenever we can, my husband and I allow ourselves to be tourists in Palermo three times a month, visiting the hidden gems of this wonderful city. As a celiac, when it comes to eating without worries, meaning zero contamination becomes a challenge. Last night, we were in Palermo for different reasons unfortunately... but while searching for a place to eat, I remembered a nice promotion made by a girl from a restaurant called "Bistrot" registered with AIC. So we went, and I can tell you it was a pleasant surprise! Starting from the location, which I loved for the care of details in the originality of the objects that speak of our territory but with an alternative twist. The variety of the menu for celiacs is amazing, the staff is helpful and very friendly, and last but not least, the owner has a unique charm. She makes you feel at home with her way of interacting and attentively following everything. I was super happy with this place because it’s not easy to find a perfect mix. I will definitely return because eating well and safely is very important, but if you also find friendliness, warmth, and that comforting feeling of home, it’s the best 💯💯💯💯😘😘

I discovered this place while on vacation in Palermo. Everything on the menu is available in a gluten-free version. The prices are advantageous, and I absolutely recommend trying the appetizers, which are very well-made and generous. As for the first courses, I found them to be too heavy on seasoning and ingredients.

My boyfriend had delicious penne, I had bruschetta and an arancino, which might be the only thing that could be improved because it was a bit bland, but still highly recommended!

We ordered the fish menu, and perhaps we made the wrong choice. The food was nothing special, but the portions were super generous and the menu price is advantageous (appetizers, 2 first courses, 3 second courses, dessert, and a drink included). We noticed that the other people around us ordered individual dishes, which looked much better. We'll have to try again to give it a second chance. As for the attention to gluten-free options, nothing to say!

The place is small inside, but very well maintained and clean; there aren't many tables, so reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. The menu really offers everything, starting from small appetizers, moving on to first courses, pizza, and sandwiches, all of excellent quality. The fried food we had was amazing and super abundant, perfect for sharing as recommended. Special mention for the gluten-free options, the entire menu is replicable for celiacs as well. The prices are very reasonable for what is offered. Coming from another city, I can absolutely recommend this place.

I couldn't taste anything in this place because the owner (I suppose) sent us away for two consecutive evenings, with the restaurant empty and us arriving around 6:30 PM, telling us that we needed to make a reservation. She didn't even let us explain that we would occupy the table for a maximum of half an hour, just enough time to eat something quick. The second time, she didn't even give us time to enter through the door. Probably, in her opinion, we had unfriendly faces 🤷🏼♀️. Too bad, because staying in the B&B just a few meters from the restaurant would have been a very convenient solution for meals.

I ate a very good piadina, I had missed eating something where the difference between gluten-free and not didn't stand out. I would have simply preferred there to be more mozzarella in my piadina! But for the rest, 100% recommended and I will definitely try other dishes next time :)

Very nice place, don't miss the gluten-free aperitif with one seafood and one meat option. It was a struggle to finish them due to the generous portions. The gluten-free seafood pasta is excellent, and the fish is incredibly fresh—I've never had fish this fresh, even in coastal areas. The gluten-free desserts are a must-try. Highly recommended!!!!!

For the series, in the small barrel you find the good wine... nothing more true!!! Small place but more than welcoming, relaxing and family-friendly environment. Super food and of excellent quality, highly recommended even for celiacs, as I ate gluten-free without any subsequent issues. An extra note for the background music, as that counts too. Excellent service and great presentation of the dishes. We will definitely return to enjoy Chef Wanda's dishes 👏👏👏👏
