excellent gluten-free menu

Everything is perfect; there's a completely gluten-free menu. I had a starter, a main course, and dessert. 😘

everything very good and very kind staff, spaces a bit small but absolutely fantastic!

Great restaurant in the center of Bologna, offering Bolognese cuisine adapted for gluten-free options as well. I ordered a plate of Bolognese lasagna and some tigelle. Everything was amazing. Nice and cozy location.

Small but well-kept restaurant in the center of Bologna with a good selection of gluten-free products. The fried gnocco with mortadella is excellent, but unfortunately, the gluten-free version is not available. If they answered the phone, one could even make a reservation; maybe the number on Google is wrong?

Very kind and highly qualified staff. No risk of contamination. Welcoming environment and fair price. Extremely satisfied.

Great food, I tried both the tortelloni with gorgonzola and walnuts and the tigelle with the cutting board, really good! However, I would expand the gluten-free menu options.

Discreet food nonetheless from a craft laboratory, wine is better chosen from the bottle. Fausto is the perfect Bolognese host. An evening in the Quadrilatero to remember.

gluten-free menu choice between 4/5 starters and 4/5 main courses.. really excellent tortelloni and friendly and attentive staff

The restaurant has a separate menu for gluten-free dishes, with 4/5 first courses and a couple of second courses available. I had the tortellini and in my opinion, they were good. With the other diners, I shared a plate of cured meats and I was served some gluten-free tigelle separately. Overall, we had a good time and the food was good.

Food not very good, I absolutely do not recommend it because I think there is a high risk of contamination. I have seen multiple times the waiters filling the baskets of tigelle with tigelle from other tables.

A tavern in the heart of Bologna, on a very characteristic street. Menu with few dishes, but still good. Tortellini and torta tenerina are very good! They also serve gluten-free tigelle instead of bread.

We were looking for a gluten-free restaurant and found this one; on the weekend, you cannot make a reservation, but there are a good number of tables that allow for a decent turnover. The service is streamlined, and the staff is young and helpful. The raw materials are of excellent quality, and the portions are standard. Prices are in line (a platter with two appetizers, two first courses, water, half a bottle of wine, and two coffees for €66). There is a patio on the street with fairly small tables, but it's a pleasant passing environment without causing disturbance. Recommended.

Great attention to gluten-free options with a dedicated menu, although not as rich as the 'normal' one. Delicious lasagna.

As someone with celiac disease, I have eaten several times in this restaurant and have never had any issues. I even enjoyed gluten-free tortellini and some good tigelle!! Just make sure to always inform the staff that you are celiac and they will explain what you can actually order, in addition to being very attentive. The only downside: the entire menu is not available in gluten-free versions, although there is a decent selection.

Very nice tavern, it's recommended to book due to some confusion and waiting times. Good value for money. Wide gluten-free menu with tortellini, lasagna, and tagliatelle.

Proposal for first and second courses, collaborating with a gluten-free pasta factory. Attentive staff, good food perfect for a quick stop.

I had lunch at this osteria about a year ago, during a visit to Bologna. After researching restaurants where I could eat gluten-free due to my partner's intolerance, I decided to choose Osteria del Podestà, and I was not disappointed! The place is not very large, especially on the ground floor, but it is well maintained and welcoming. The staff greet you with a smile and are available for any request. Although the place was not AIC certified (they inform you about possible contamination), they were extremely attentive to gluten-free dishes, and even the gluten-free tigelle were served in their own bag, separate from the rest of the appetizer. The food was excellent, from the platter of cold cuts and cheeses to the first courses. The house red wine was also good. I chose the classic tortellini in broth, made to perfection, but even the gluten-free lasagna was, according to my boyfriend, exquisite. I recommend trying the osteria and their typical dishes; you won't be disappointed! I can't wait to return!

Pre-packaged food from a local pasta shop and heated on the spot. The first portion was delivered still frozen, the second was not particularly appetizing, neither in appearance nor in taste. Even the gluten-containing food was not noteworthy. A place for tourists.

Typical place in the center of Bologna. Good platter of cold cuts and cheeses with fresh products, excellent value for money. Unfortunately, neither the tigelle nor the bread were included in the platter, we had to order them separately, the same for the squacquerone. However, these were offered to us. We called to inquire about gluten-free options, and were told that specific tigelle were made, but these were almost inedible. As a celiac, I wouldn't return since the service provided wasn't sufficient, but aside from that, it's a great place.

Restaurant right in the center of Bologna. Wide range of typical gluten-free Bolognese dishes, made in a separate laboratory and heated upon order. The lasagna is delicious! Tigelle were a bit dry but still good.
5
The dishes for celiacs are different, and for me, who is also lactose intolerant, they offered lasagna Bolognese, accompanied by crescentine, also gluten-free and lactose-free. Impeccable service and very kind staff.
5
The gluten-free alternatives are many and delicious. Unbeatable lasagna and potato cake.

Osteria located in the historic center of Bologna, ideal for a lunch break while visiting the city. The dishes are excellent and the wait to be seated is minimal. For those with gluten intolerance or celiac disease, a separate menu is available upon request. The only downside is that the outdoor tables are a bit too close to each other.

Very nice location. There is a good selection of gluten-free food; I had the pancakes with ham and zucchini. Not special but quite good. I would go back.

We have many good places, but only a few wonderful ones... and Osteria del Podestà deserves to be in this category. I went to dinner with my girlfriend (on 9/06/21) with a reservation, but there were still seats available. The venue is in the center of Bologna, easily reachable by foot if you're visiting the city, with seating inside and outside (we chose to sit outside). While waiting, the waitresses offered us a glass of sparkling wine and chips, which I really appreciated. The menu is very unique and the dishes are super tasty (I won’t deny that I peeked at what others were eating and based my choices on their dishes). The gluten-free menu offers a wide selection, excellent organization. The staff is friendly, and the owner is very nice. I’m attaching the dishes and the bill (which I found honest; for two, I expected a bit more for two appetizers, two first courses, two mains, and two glasses of wine). Definitely worth a visit.
