Good as Papeo!! Best pizza in Bologna

The pizza is quite good, but the gluten-free ones are really small! My son needs two to fill up. It's always best to book well in advance because the delivery times are long. Maximum safety, gluten-free pizzas are transported separately from the others.

I am a regular customer: gluten-free for me ๐, and regular dough for my husband. I must say that the lady who takes the orders is very kind and attentive to every request. The time is always observed to the minute, never a delay! The pizzas are very good in both versions. The ingredients are excellent! A mention to the delivery guy: punctual, very kind, always smiling ๐๐๐๐. We are very satisfied ๐๐๐. The prices are reasonable. WE FEEL LIKE RECOMMENDING AND TASTING PAPEO'S PIZZA ๐๐๐. PS: I was very hungry ๐ and didnโt take any photos ๐คทโโ๏ธ. Valeria ๐โโ๏ธ and Osvaldo ๐โโ๏ธ๐๐๐๐.

Starting from the food, I can say that I didn't try it because after ordering a gluten-free pizza for 8:30 PM, it didn't arrive. After various calls back and forth, at 10:15 PM I was told that the rider had rung the doorbell and didn't find me at home, and that the restaurant was closing and they couldn't do anything anymore. It caused a lot of discomfort because a gluten-intolerant guest didn't eat. This restaurant will never have an order from me again.

I had nice memories of Papeo's gluten-free pizza (the best) when they had only one location. Purchased last night 'Prima pizza' gluten-free, giving the pizzeria a second chance since months ago it didn't go very well (it can happen). Forget this new experience: no hint of a crust; it looked like a piadina; slightly undercooked dough; meager toppings; mozzarella already dry (delivered to my home in less than 5 minutes). Given the price of the pizza, they shouldn't have delivered it, and if they had a conscience, they should have remade it... but that didn't happen. Disappointing.

Finally, a gluten-free pizzeria that truly delivers. The dough is very similar to a classic dough, complete with a crust and soft pizza in the center. We ordered a spicy salami with buffalo cheese and friarielli, which had a good balance of spiciness and a nice flavor from the friarielli. It was delivered in a colorful box, with the gluten-free pizza clearly marked on top. It came from the kitchen where they have a dedicated oven and all the toppings are completely separated. The staff is very friendly and helpful, mostly from Naples. They have a convenient booking solution through their website platform.

I have dined several times at Papeo and this time I wanted to try Papeo To Go. I ordered two take-out pizzas with a pick-up time set for 9 PM. Setting aside the 20-minute delay (which is understandable), I really don't understand how such a small place can manage with delivery drivers constantly coming and going (so much so that thereโs no waiting area), orders to manage inside the place, and orders for take-out. I believe this last mode is essentially what they want to eliminate by encouraging either delivery or dining in. However, itโs good to have the option of choosing gluten-free dough, although various types of dough and fried items are still not available. I think the pizza is still better than the one from Papeo. Summary: a half Papeo (and not To Go).
