I used my equal ears card and they said that flour was in both kitchens and there is cross contamination and so I could get sick and refused to serve me! first time this has happened to me in ANY country

The pizza is simply EXCEPTIONAL, the authentic Neapolitan pizza, in the heart of Florence. I really struggled to believe it was gluten-free. I chose a vegetable pizza with added prosciutto, very tasty and light, my companion had a prosciutto and mushroom pizza, equally well done. The staff, young and always present, moves around the room with professionalism and discretion. A special thank you to Andrea and Lias, who welcome guests with friendliness and kindness, making you feel at ease right away. Our favorite place in Florence! The menu has a great variety of fresh, authentic, made-to-order dishes. Everything we had was DELICIOUS. The service is never lacking. The atmosphere was splendid. Sophie was our waitress and she was a pure delight. She really loves what she does. As if all of this was not great enough? Their regular dishes can all be made gluten free!! So my husband and I were both able to eat most deliciously and it was so fantastic. Mama Eat for the win in Firenze!

I thoroughly enjoyed dining at Mama Eat with Elyes as our server. Not only was he professional, he was warm & friendly, informative, and even switched to English for us. Being a celiac, I was thrilled to find this place. Gluten free food out the wazoo including, but not limited to: arancini, calzones, tiramisu, croquettes. And for your gluten-eating friends who think all gluten free food is bad, they have two kitchens - one dedicated to gluten free, and the other is regular. A celiac heaven.

I was really impressed by this gluten-free restaurant: finally a place where I can eat in complete safety, without sacrificing taste! Every dish is carefully crafted with fresh ingredients and original combinations. From appetizers to desserts, everything was delicious and well presented. Very cozy place located near Piazza della Signoria. The staff is very friendly. The plus of this place is that the entire menu is offered in both normal and gluten-free versions, and everything is delicious at honest prices. Those who are not intolerant cannot understand the happiness of being able to choose from a menu what they want to eat, rather than settling for a few options. Congratulations indeed!

A 3-minute walk from Piazza della Signoria in Florence, a small gluten-free restaurant spread over 2 floors. Super welcoming. Friendly staff! The pizza is amazing, the stuffed croquettes are delicious. Tasty bread! Fast service. 5-star food for someone with celiac disease. Excellent location, easily reachable on foot! Anyway, we were so full that we will return later to try the desserts!

Great place to eat gluten-free, the menu can be completely made gluten-free. I haven't tried the first and second courses but the appetizers are delightful and it's nice for once to eat a potato croquette or a fried pizza without gluten. The gluten-free pizza is good, one of the best I've tried in Florence. Excellent place for a dinner with friends if someone has gluten intolerance or celiac disease because there are options of all kinds.

Fantastic experience, we went by chance, but it was love at first sight. Wonderful dishes, from appetizer to dessert, 5 stars and more, the pizzas are excellent, both regular and gluten-free, indistinguishable because they are made very well, but above all tasty from the dough to the toppings. Not to mention the friendly and very kind staff, everyone included. In fact, a big shout out to them for welcoming us warmly. Having tried the same chain in Naples, where it was a pleasant experience, I can say that this one went badly. The fried foods were nothing spectacular, the battered vegetables too greasy and heavy. It's serious that they couldn't make a decent Neapolitan dish and a cacio e pepe; the first one was sent back to the kitchen, and the second time it was slightly better but not enough. For a restaurant specializing in Neapolitan and Roman cuisine, these should be the basics. I didn't try the pizza, so I can't judge that. But I don't think I'll return, especially since the prices are quite high. I have nothing to say about food safety, having two kitchens they ensure no contamination.

I visited this restaurant with my family. The staff welcomes you and is very kind. They are also very attentive to the different intolerances and allergies of each customer, signaling foods that could have contamination, but this is not the case with gluten as they have two separate kitchens. The entire menu can be requested gluten-free safely. The venue is centrally located and resides in a beautiful historic building, well-furnished. Really pleasant. I would like to point out, hoping that the restaurant managers read me, that the dishes were a bit too salty and we felt it afterwards. Prices are average. It is a place that I definitely recommend.

A cross-section offer of typical dishes from Campania to Lombardy. In such a place, one would expect a top gluten-free pizza, but instead, it is perhaps the least impressive dish on the menu (better ones can be found in many other pizzerias). The menu can be ordered both with and without gluten (as well as for other intolerances, like lactose-free) because they have two separate kitchens. The location is very central and strategic, also for tourists. A lovely venue inside. There should be many more places like this!

What can I say, the best opening right near home couldn't be asked for! Beautiful environment, the staff immediately tries to make you feel at ease, and I love finding waiters who, in addition to excellent service, engage in conversation with you. The food, as is already known, is delicious. Being able to eat everything, even gluten-free, is spectacular, not to mention the delicacy of the gluten-free options as well. I am really happy to have a place like this close to home!

I went to Mama Eat with my boyfriend and we had a more than positive experience. The venue, over two floors, has a very elegant style and offers a romantic atmosphere. First of all, the waiters asked us if we preferred gluten-free (in our case it wasn't necessary, but the attention to this aspect was nonetheless maximum). All the staff were kind and cheerful, especially the dark-haired waiter with blue eyes who was really nice and approachable. The service was quick... And what can I say about the food? We ordered a sausage and friarielli croquette, pasta and potatoes, a Genovese pasta, meatballs and friarielli, and for dessert, nutella-filled scugnizzi. Everything was delicious and well-made (I'm very picky about meatballs, but I have to say they were very good). The Genovese pasta deserves a special mention because if I could, I would recommend it to anyone. Superb, even more so than the pasta and potatoes. The friarielli were tasty, flavorful just like you make at home. The scugnizzi were very tempting and super abundant, just like everything else, after all. I will definitely return because after trying their Genovese, I believe you can't do without it.

I am celiac and have never found a place like this in my life. The food is of excellent quality and so good that it didn't seem gluten-free. The service is excellent, the waiters are very attentive to the issue and extremely friendly. I recommend it because it is really exquisite.
