Very nice and spacious bar, gluten-free products, vegan, and some even raw, but all very, very good. I've never tasted such a good and soft gluten-free brioche.

Great ice cream, try it to believe it!

gluten-free option, wide selection, but they really gave us very little ice cream 🥲

The place offers desserts that are completely gluten-free! ("gluten doesn't even enter the venue" if you were to ask) therefore it is an excellent option. The service is prepared and fast. I recommend it.

Nice place, the staff is friendly and very helpful. The completely vegan product selection is excellent and delicious. I had the spiced cake and the tiramisu. It's not a touristy spot even though the area is. The venue is clean and tidy.

Delicious vegan pastry shop. It’s often difficult to find tasty vegan meals, but this pastry shop shows that it is absolutely possible! It’s a pity that vegan food equates to prices higher than average, but it’s worth it!

After visiting the Boboli Garden, I accidentally discovered this café-pastry shop and it was a wonderful surprise! A unique, elegant, and contemporary environment that captivates at first glance. As soon as I entered, I was warmly greeted and calmed by two young people, one at the pastry counter and the other at the café. Everything is gluten-free and vegan, a rarity attended to in the finest details. I had a mini tartlet with pistachio crumble and a latte macchiato: both delicious. But what truly amazed me was their fresh almond milk, produced by them, a real gem that makes a difference. Every flavor was impeccable. I will definitely return to try more desserts and drinks. Highly recommended!

Hands down, the best Gelato and Afogato I tried in Florence! Pistachios and Hazelnut is out of this world! Been here twice in a row. The lady behind the counter is very sweet and friendly. The raw cookies is awesome without the guilt of eating traditional sugar laden cookies. We bought some with us to take home. Try it, you won't regret it!

Pretty good vegan Gelato! The nut flavours really shine through in their Gelatos. I especially liked the Hazelnut chocolate and pistachio flavours! However, the texture is not the best — I got a couple of ice crystals in a gelato that wasnt supposed to be a sorbet. The quantity is also quite less for the price point! They offer 2 scoops on a cone for €3.80 but each of those scoops is about half a hemisphere and the cone is also quite narrow.

As someone with a milk sensitivity, I loved this place. The gelato is SO good and the texture is still very much creamy and flavorful. I would come here again for coffee or gelato (we actually made multiple stops here on our visit).

10/10 experience and deliciousness! You would never know the croissants are gluten free. The almond milk is homemade and makes for a silky smooth cappuccino. Highly highly recommend stopping here! We will definitely be back.

So good we went twice in one day! The quiches were delicious and the croissant was undetectably gluten free! The raspberry jam inside tasted so fresh and not too sweet! We went back for ice cream which was a perfect treat!

Courteous and attentive service. Very tasty and unique gluten-free products. Even the cappuccino and coconut sugar are amazing.

My girlfriend is a big fan of Vito Cortese, and it’s thanks to her that I got to know his pastry shop. I give it three stars because the quality of the products is beyond question—110 out of 100! However, the closing time of 7:00 or 7:30 PM in the summer is a bit absurd, especially on weekends in the historic center. The missing stars are due to the service today. However, it has become our regular practice to visit Vito on weekends, sometimes at the Museum of the 900 and sometimes on Via Gucciardini, but it’s a fixed stop. Each time we spend between 15 and 20 euros, if not more. When we have guests, we take them to Vito, so we always end up spending well over 20 euros. Of course, whenever I want to gift a dessert to my partner, I stop by Vito. Today we were at Via Gucciardini. We ordered two L cups and some small sweets and spent €17.40. We wanted two flavors of gelato, but the guy told us it’s not possible because the L cup comes with three balls. If we want two, we would have to get the M cups. But excuse me, the customer decides how much gelato they want and which flavors. If we want two flavors, just put the same amount but of two flavors, as happens everywhere. One and a half balls, if you must be pedantic. In the end, we cede and take three balls (the cups were practically half empty). I forgot to take a picture before eating it, as we were really craving gelato, but you can see underneath it’s empty—I'd say clean. While we were heading to the tables, the staff stopped us and said there is a forced table service and asked for 2 euros. Maybe it was a mistake on their part in the past, but they had never required a service fee before. (At the museum restaurant, with a minimum spend I can’t remember, the service is free, even though I must admit we’ve always brought our things to the table and back to the counter when finished, and never paid for extras). That said, I just spent almost 18 euros (and I’m always willing to spend for the quality) and you ask me for 2 euros for service, which I didn’t even request?? Seriously? Moreover, it’s good practice to fill the cups; you can’t be stingy with small scoops at the staff’s whim. That said, I’m very sorry, but Vito Cortese has lost two super loyal customers. P.S. The second photo shows how the gelato cup looked a few weeks ago. Unhappily, there have been changes.

A WONDERFUL DISCOVERY! Hands down the best ice cream I have had in recent years! Finally, a 100% plant-based ice cream shop with phenomenal flavors. A very fair price-quality ratio! Central location, close to everything and easy to reach, pleasant place, fast and friendly service. I can't wait to return!

A very elegant, refined place, beautifully furnished, warm atmosphere, very comfortable seating upstairs where there is also a small lounge with armchairs. Many tables have a panoramic view of the street below, and the windows are adorned with beautiful flowers. This is a vegan raw pastry shop, so all the products are 100% plant-based and almost all are prepared at very low temperatures to preserve the characteristic flavors of raw dishes and all the properties of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients. In addition to the raw pastry, there is also a Bar corner and an Ice Cream corner, and the ice creams are made just like the pastry products and are delicious. The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable, smiling and warm. I have been following chef Vito Cortese for a long time, I often visit his other location in Piazza Santa Maria Novella, and the opening of this second place was wonderful news here in Florence, keep it up! The desserts here are special, unique, healthy, beautiful to look at, taken care of in every detail, and you can feel that they have good karma.

I went last week, discovered by chance while looking for a gluten-free place to eat something after a morning of sightseeing. A small place, on two floors, very nice and comfortable. Super kind and professional staff. Both sweet and savory dishes were excellent, I have no words to describe, everything was exquisite! I absolutely recommend it.

A definitely peculiar place, it is not cheap but it is really of high quality. Everything is vegan, they make their own almond milk and there are also gluten-free products.

I didn't expect to find a place like this in the center of Florence, and it was a beautiful discovery! I enjoyed a wonderful dark chocolate (really delicious and not at all cloying, as one might fear with almond), accompanied by a hazelnut and chocolate cookie: as a lactose intolerant person, not having to resort to the usual sad coffee felt like a dream, and I wished I had the space to taste everything!

This café and pastry shop is entirely gluten-free and vegan, and almost everything is raw. Very brave in a city like Florence, but Vito knows what he's doing. A lot of research and technique has gone into creating good vegan croissants with the right consistency. I was already in love with his cappuccino made with almond milk. Now I discover the vegan ice creams (so many flavors). Florence was missing a place like this.
