Visited here on a recent trip to Pisa - and it was great. We were given a bag of bread which I think was the best GF bread I’ve ever had. We had a pasta dish each from the really extensive menu and they were really good. We then shared the beef which was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we’ll definitely visit next time we’re in Pisa.

Beautiful experience, and I say this as a non-celiac. I went to Grano Libero with my wife, who is celiac, and I must say that the food is delicious, served with fantastic courtesy. Last but not least, the place is beautiful and welcoming. The staff makes you feel at ease right away and gives excellent recommendations. One of the best gastronomy experiences in Italy. We came because of one family member with celiac problem. Our expectations were not high because gluten free meals are difficult to master. Food, kindness and friendlyness of staff are hard to descibe. Bruschette, steak and focaccia are my recommendation. Reservation is a good idea.

We went to dinner last night, with a starter of vegetarian crostini, crispy and tasty, especially the one with tomatoes, stracciatella, and pesto. The fresh pasta is of excellent quality: Pappardelle with wild boar, abundant and delicious, creamy spaghetti cacio e pepe. Homemade bread crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The desserts were also very good. Honest prices and very friendly staff. A very nice and air-conditioned location. We also returned for lunch and ordered two focaccias for takeaway. This restaurant was among the top results of my search, and it was also highly recommended by others. Being very close to our B&B, we dined there for two evenings. The staff was very kind, and all the food was completely gluten-free. We particularly loved the bruschettas with liver: DIVINE. If I ever return to Pisa, I will definitely go back.

The menu includes only gluten-free dishes and there is a wide selection: appetizers, first courses, second courses, flatbreads, and hamburgers. The dishes are good and in reasonable portions. We were on a tourist visit to Pisa, and I was truly happy to find a place that is completely gluten-free. We had pici all'amatriciana, which were truly well made, and two tagliate, along with their delicious homemade bread. The place is welcoming, the food is excellent with a wide choice (a rarity for those with celiac disease). I went to dinner at this restaurant because my girlfriend is gluten-free. The location is nice, with tables available outside. We ordered an appetizer for 2 people, 2 first courses, 2 waters, and 1 coffee, and we spent €56. The appetizer (average, nothing exceptional) consisted of a crostini with tomatoes and one with liver pâté, so it's hard to consider it for 2 people. The fondue was very good. As for the first courses, nothing to say, amatriciana and cacio e pepe were spectacular, both the sauces and the pasta itself. The downside, however, in my opinion, is the service. We arrived at 8:55 PM with a table booked for 9 PM and had to wait 15 minutes to receive the table. We were asked if we preferred inside or outside; I said that if there was space outside it would be better, but inside was fine as I hadn't specified at the time of booking. However, they should have told us that there would be a wait to sit outside; instead, we were bounced from one waiter to another. We also had to wait a long time for the first courses, after the waitress got annoyed because we were already ready to order and she only wanted to bring us water as the kitchen was in crisis. We told her it was no problem, we could wait, but in a grumpy tone, she took our order (which was the same as our neighbors' table, and they received it 30 minutes before us). Finally, even at the time of paying, we were treated with indifference. I feel bad because we were accommodating to all their timings, and being treated like this is a bit disrespectful. That said, if you're gluten intolerant and find yourself in the area, I recommend a stop at this restaurant.
