We went to the restaurant on Friday night, drawn by the reviews about the pizza both with regular dough and gluten-free. Upon entering, a waiter kindly seated us at a table, although he seemed quite rushed. Once seated, a waitress came to take our order, but while listening to our requests, she was looking elsewhere, struggling to pay attention and responding almost impatiently. In short, she showed no consideration for the customer. We ordered a gluten-free appetizer, a gluten-free tortellini, a monkfish on fava bean cream, and some roasted potatoes. In order: - the appetizer was the equivalent of frozen croquettes and mozzarella sticks from the supermarket, and I say this without any exaggeration, at a RIDICULOUS price (14€); - the tortellini was good, portioned in a plate that resembles more of a bowl, however good at a fairly reasonable price (13€); - the monkfish didn’t appeal to me much, as it was covered in pepper, lying on a fava bean cream that was more liquid and tasteless than the broth of the tortellini. The price could be acceptable if it were well made (18€); - the roasted potatoes weren’t anything special at a price I think is unjustified for potatoes (5€). We left without dessert and coffee because, between the smell of food and the chaos, and the rude, inattentive, and unwelcoming service, we were unwilling to stay a minute longer in the restaurant. Total bill without wine, dessert, and coffee: 57€. I hope the pizzas are special, as they looked good, but unfortunately, with this service, even the best food loses its appeal.

Very crowded place (it was Saturday night, it makes sense), with a bit cramped seating but still comfortable. Excellent seafood dishes, among which we chose tuna steak and cod. Other gluten-free guests received impeccable service, from changing the napkin to avoid contamination, to a sealed bag with gluten-free bread, just as with the dishes chosen by friends. Excellent service and great attention to specific dietary needs. Highly recommended!

The pizza is both gluten-free (made with cereal dough) and regular, very good. After 5 minutes from the order, the regular pizza arrives while we wait a bit longer for the gluten-free one. The environment is not very large, so it creates a lot of confusion; the tables are very close together, making it feel like you're at a table with the others. I had a tiramisu for dessert that wasn’t a tiramisu but a biscuit covered with mascarpone cream, which didn’t come together enough, so I don’t recommend it. The gluten-free draft beer is good. The pizza is good, but I only endorse that, so I wouldn't return; the environment and atmosphere are not suitable.

Pizza, fried dishes, seafood first courses, all amazing. With high-quality ingredients. The frying is very light and crispy. Highly recommended; they have a separate kitchen being AIC affiliated. If I really have to find a flaw, it is a bit expensive, but it is the best in Bologna to date.

The best pizzeria in all of Bologna! Classic Neapolitan dough also provided for celiacs, as well as the possibility of having a 48-hour fermentation that gives the pizza something extra! The major flaw of this restaurant is the staff: in winter I dealt with a waitress who, while I was putting on my jacket as quickly as possible, stood behind me saying to her colleague (hoping I wouldn't hear): "Come on, you can do it, it’s not difficult, hurry up!" in an annoyed tone suitable for mockery, all because she had to clear the table... that's not how it’s done.

A place definitely worth trying for dinner and, above all, a pizza. The pizzas are many and made with good quality ingredients, although perhaps a bit pricey. I understand the sought-after ingredients, but having pizzas priced at €15 or €16, plus at least €1.50 for gluten-free dough, adds up. They are good anyway, although I personally prefer other places. Dinner for three: 3 pizzas, an initial fried dish, 3 desserts, two waters, two beers, and a coffee totalled €104, which is certainly not a low price even for a dinner that was absolutely satisfying.

Good pizza and fast service. There were three of us, including me, who is celiac. The place is marked as AIC and practically the whole menu is gluten-free. The service was quick and flawless, the guy who served us was very knowledgeable. The gluten-free fried food was good but perhaps a bit small, all the pizzas were very good! I only give 4 stars because the prices are quite high; the pizzas cost around €15, desserts €6, and what struck me most were the €2.50 for the cover charge.

Everything is very good, from appetizers to desserts and pizzas. There are many seafood specialties and also fried dishes. The staff is very attentive and highlights the gluten-free person to avoid mistakes (which is not common). A bit expensive but very, very good.

The best for detachment. Superlative pizza, not to mention the cuisine. All the dishes are gluten-free; those with a minority of flour in the preparation are gluten-free for everyone. And the most important thing for me, and it's very rare in Italy, there is no extra charge. A great sign of civility. I chose this pizzeria among the ones in Bologna because I love Neapolitan culinary tradition: compared to the Neapolitan pizza tasted in Naples, the one consumed in Bologna has an equally valid dough, at the expense of the less flavorful ingredients. In any case, I am talking about excellences in comparison. My four stars are due to the costs: definitely above average.

In Bologna, there is a really delicious gluten-free pizzeria restaurant that I discovered a bit by chance thanks to some friends. Fish dishes, meat, pizza, pasta, desserts... Everything gluten-free! I'm crazy about clams and so... they brought me gluten-free bread in its little bag and I tried a new beer! I didn't have time to take a picture of the dessert (it was a panna cotta) because I devoured it. Recommended!!

We have chosen Caruso's pizzas (delivery) several times, but this time we decided to try them at the venue. We booked for dinner on a Saturday. The place is small, not very big, and it becomes chaotic when it’s full. We were given a table in front of a door and were told that "we will never open it." This was not the case, and it was quite annoying and unpleasant. The food is excellent; we chose a gluten-free appetizer along with two pizzas. The appetizer for two (which was supposed to contain various fried items) consisted of 2 fried mozzarella balls, 2 olive ascolane, 2 fried pasta meatballs, and then all fries. At that point, I would have preferred a portion of fries. The pizzas were both special, well-seasoned, and abundant. The problem with the pizzas is that they always lose a lot of oil (something we noticed with delivery as well). The staff is friendly and polite, although they parked us at the table and left us for a long time before taking our order. Prices are high; we are talking about €15 per pizza (although they are special and rich). The only addition of yellow datterini tomatoes (counting 7-8 halves on the pizza) cost €3. Expectations go hand in hand with the price.

It was really a disappointment. At the time of booking (by phone) for dinner, we were given the availability of a table with the indication to clear it by 9 PM. We arrived on time and were reminded a couple of times that we needed to leave by 9 to make room for the next shift. The service was quick, maybe too much; they took my plate while I was finishing my last bite. In short, I adapt to the shifts, but don't do me a favor by making me eat there when I'm paying!!! I prefer to know that there are no tables available rather than sitting at a table with the anxiety of needing to leave. It's absolutely not okay to exert such pressure on the customer; everything was very confusing, noisy, and overcrowded. In order to maximize covers, all rules of common sense and politeness are disregarded. Let's talk about the pizza... the quality of the ingredients was good, but Neapolitan pizza is something else! Gluten-free pizza was mediocre, without any notable features. Duration of dinner: 45 minutes; it was a bad experience, it felt like a break dictated by the need to return to work in a crowded cafeteria. I do not recommend it.

I don’t remember ever having eaten a better pizza in my life. From the menu, with its variety of flavors and doughs, you can tell you are in a good place; the presence of gluten-free options offers a high-quality pizza even to those who usually have to settle for less indulgent products. Excellent service; there may be some mix-ups or delays when it’s very crowded, but that's because they really serve a lot of customers. I recommend going on quieter days to fully enjoy the friendliness of the waiters.

We often go to Caruso because my partner is celiac. They really have the option to choose both gluten-free restaurant and pizzeria. We have tried both and they are really good, especially the spaghetti with clams, the calamarata, and the mixed fried seafood. Kudos also to the pizza. The place has seating outside and is accessible inside.

I spent an evening with friends and I must say that the atmosphere was very positive, the room was quite calm, the service was fast and courteous. The quality of the products is high and you can easily tell by looking at the prices of some pizzas (some pizzas even cost between €10 and €14). I had a pizza and it was very good; if desired, you can order a pizza with kamut dough or gluten-free. If you want to spend an evening with friends, whether it’s for a birthday or a reunion, I definitely recommend this place.

Many different types of dough, many gluten-free options for celiacs and intolerant individuals (they have an oven specifically for gluten-free dough), and a huge variety of toppings with high-quality and fresh ingredients (including lactose-free mozzarella for those intolerant). The restaurant side is also excellent, with a menu featuring both seafood and land dishes, with a preference for seafood! The environment and staff are super welcoming and professional, often feeling very family-friendly! The prices are fair for the quality of the food, not above average, honest! Great pizza by the slice. Nice place, tables a bit too close to each other, especially in winter when the veranda is closed, but it’s tolerable. They have a separate oven for gluten-free. On weekends, you can only find a spot by reservation... and ahead of time. I only tried the pizza (4 different platters shared among friends) and I was thrilled.

Great pizzeria located just outside the center of Bologna. The pizza is truly among the best, with good and light dough, fresh toppings, various dough options for the pizzas, and even the possibility of gluten-free. Fair prices and a welcoming venue, but the staff is a bit inefficient. We were there on a not-busy evening and the waiter brought us a €24 platter that we hadn't ordered, which (absolutely in good faith) ended up on the bill, and we didn't receive a beer that we had canceled.
